    Where are the best areas to apply Maxforce FC Magnum for roaches? Do I need to treat both on the inside and outside of my unit?
    I either have cockroaches coming FROM my unit (via drains), or INTO my unit from outside...where should I bait? I'm worried that I might make the situation worse by unnecessarily attracting all of the roaches on the property into my unit. My complex property manager assumes the roaches are coming from the surrounding vacant units, but he is far from an expert and couldn't care less.

    Baiting and sanitiation are key when treating for roaches. Maxforce FC Magnum is a clean out bait and can be applied indoors and outdoors. We would recommended using the Roach Control Kit A to treat your home inside and out. The kit contains all 3 products that are necessary to eradicate a roach infestation. You can also protect your unit by applying and insecticide dust in the wall voids that will last for up to 10 years.

    I bought Maxforce FC Magnum but it didn't work. What can I use instead?
    A

    Using Maxforce FC Magnum (or any other roach bait gel) on its own is unlikely to eradicate a roach infestation, especially if it is severe.  We would recommend implementing a complete roach treatment program, which includes using an insecticide spray and an insect growth regulator (IGR) along with a roach bait gel, as well as non-chemical methods like proper sanitation and removing potential food and water sources.  We normally suggest that you use one of our roach control kits to treat a roach infestation, so that you will have all of the necessary products.

    Will Maxforce FC Magnum work for ants?
    I've been seeing ants in the kitchen. Will this bait work just as well for ants as it does for roaches?

    Maxforce FC Magnum is formulated for roaches only, so you should not apply it for ant control. Because of the amount of active ingredient, even if ants ate the bait, they would die too quickly to carry the active ingredient throughout the colony. There is an ant bait gel by the same manufacturer, Maxforce FC Ant Bait Gel.     Which bait for roaches neutralizes(either kills or paralyzes) them the quickest?
    I live in a attached row house with a roach infested neighbor, I'm trying to bait them inside my wall in order to neutralize them before they get to my house. I want to put some type of bait inside my wall that they will ingest and kill them quickly. Which chemical works the fastest, Imidacloprid, Indoxacarb, Fipronil, Hydramethylnon, or something else?

    Can we use maxforce to prevent infestations if we know our neighbors have a problem with roaches?

    Maxforce FC Magnum can be used to treat active roach issues. We woul recommend to put up a barrier using a product like Demon WP. You can apply Demon to the cracks crevices and entry points as a barrier.

    I spoke to a pest control operator (that came to my work) about my roach problem. He recommended Maxforce .05.
    I see you have Maxforce, but I'm not seeing the percentage in strength that he recommended. Can you help me, please?

    Maxforce makes many different roach gels that are all different percentages of strength.  The one you are looking for is called Maxforce FC Magnum, and contains .05% fipronil.

    How much of this do I put inside a plate station?

    We need help choosing DIY pro exterminating products for infestation... Brooklyn, NY
    We have been looking for DIY pro exterminating products. We exterminated 2 years ago due to a nasty neighbor who had an infestation. Spent a grip and recommended to neighbor to get exterminated. Now infestation seems to be back due to new neighbor moving in, in December. We noticed all kinds: oblong shaped, rounded, light brown, dark brown, tiny to smaller size. 2 days in a row we noticed large black (2 sightings) it driving my wife nuts. She is constantly wiping and cleaning. Highest occurrence in the kitchen which is lined up next to neighbor on left by floor plan. We are stuck on what brand to buy. Max force or Vendetta. Our house is attached on both sides by neighbor houses. It's winter and snow everywhere so exterior spraying not suitable right now. Last time exterminator used a light brown gel which worked great. Please Help!

    To treat a roach infestation you want to use Maxforce Fc Magnum.  We also recommend using Gentrol Point Source to break down the reproductive cycle. Please see our roach control page. To put up a barrier around your home you want to also use a crack and crevice spray like Phantom.

    Does Maxforce FC Magnum kill the roach eggs/sack as well?

    Maxforce FC Magnum needs to be injested by the pest so it will not kill eggs or the sacks. We would recommend using something like Gentrol Point Sources that will stop the roaches from reproducing.

    Terminix came out 2 days ago and I'm still not happy after the 4th visit, so can I use the your product?
    I just can't take it anymore and I really need more help on getting rid of them because Terminix was a waste of time and money.

    There is no reason why you cannot use the Maxforce FC Magnum roach bait gel in addition to the treatments that the pest control company did.     What else does Maxforce FC Magnum eradicate?
    Does Maxforce kill other bugs like Cigarette beetle?

    Maxforce FC Magnum is labeled for several species of roaches including German, American, Oriental and Smokey Brown roaches. It is also labeled for stored pests like cigarette beetles. The label states : To control exposed, adult stages of beetles: cadelle, cigarette beetle, confused flour beetle, dermestid, drugstore beetle, flat grain beetle, granary weevil, lesser grain borer, lesser mealworm, mealworm, merchant grain beetle, red flour beetle, rice weevil, rusty grain beetle, saw-toothed grain beetle, spider beetle, or warehouse beetle. After removing infested foodstuffs and cleaning up spilled foodstuffs and dust, applications of this product will kill adult stages of beetles remaining in area. Apply in voids, cracks and crevices, behind and under cupboards, and other difficult to reach areas where insects may hide

    Do roach baits like Maxforce Magnum kill household ants?

    If ants were to ingest the Roach bait like Maxforce FC Magnum it culd harm them. The idea of ants being attracted to Roach bait is highly unlikely. Each bait contains seperate food attractants for the different pest. We would recommend for ants to use a bait like Maxforce FC Ant bait gel.

    Can I use Maxforce FC Magnum after I've just applied Permethrin dust?
    A

    You would not apply the Maxforce FC Magnum in the same area as a dust as this would contaminate the bait and make is less attractive for the roaches.  Dusts are only for use around baseboards and in cracks and crevices, behind switch plates, electrical boxes etc.  Baits are placed higher up.  

    Gel cockroach bait and bait stations should be placed in the following areas for the best results:

    • Behind kitchen cabinets and counter tops
    • Behind wall hangings such as pictures, clocks, or posters
    • Behind, next to, and under the stove.
    • In the corners up under the sink and other cabinets.
    • In stored paper bags and boxes.
    • Around pipes, cords, and cables that come out of the wall.
    • Behind and under bathroom fixtures.
    • Behind the medicine cabinet and vanity.
    • In any cracks or crevices around shelves or wood
    • In corners and under railings and on drawers.

    Can I put Maxforce or Advion gel in bait plates on the ground after Temprid FX has dried?

    No, should not place Maxforce FC Magnum  or Advion bait gel where there is active Temprid FX or any other insecticide. Baits should be up high and sprays down low.  Here is a helpful article for treating roaches- Roach Control Article.

    I ordered your product from ebay. I have German cockroach in the kitchen. I had an exterminator spray 3 months ago. Am I able to use your product now?

    Yes, the Maxforce FC Magnum can be used the same day or at any time after the treatment as long as you don't bait over the spray and spray over the bait. We always tell you to bait high and spray low.

    Will Maxforce FC Magnum work for Carpet Beetles?

    No, Maxforce FC Magnum is only labeled for roaches and would not be effective for Carpet Beetles. Our Carpet Beetle Kit would be the best option for treating carpet beetles in the home.

    What is the difference between Maxforce FC Magnum & Advion Roach Bait? Is FC Magnum Stronger?
    I've used Advion Roach Bait but wonder if the FC Magnum is stronger?

    Maxforce FC Magnum contains the active ingredient Fipronil, and it contains 5 x more of the active ingredient than other roach bait gels with the same active ingredient. Maxforce FC Magnum has a great transfer effect throughout an active roach colony and often used when there are heavier roach infestations and for faster cleanout.

    Will Maxforce FC Magnum work on mealybugs and other insects in the basement?

    Maxforce FC Magnum is labeled to treat roaches and will not work on other insects.

    Talstar P would be a recommended to treat both indoors and outdoors for over 75+ insects including mealybugs, ants, roaches, spiders, etc. Indoors this applied as a crack and crevice applicaiton along baseboards, around window and door trim, behind appliances, under sinks, cabinets, around plumbing, etc. Outdoors, apply to the exterior foundation, windows, doors, and in landscape beds on ornamentals, bushes, shrubs, flowers as well as the lawn.
