Previously known as Suterra Medium Yellow Sticky Trap. The Medium Yellow Sticky Trap is a plastic, water resistant trap that is coated both sides with a powerful dry-touch, no mess, and non-drip insect glue. It works best in greenhouses and conservatories where small flying insects like aphids, phorids, sciarids, whiteflies and others are usually seen. Because insects are attracted to a range of particular color wavelengths, the trap is designed with a definite tone of yellow that has been discovered as a powerful attractant. With that, the trap gives an advantage of having an effective solution in getting rid of damaging insect pests. To apply, start with removing the cover paper to activate the trap. It should be hung just above the crop, rapidly after crop develops and before insect pest population begins to increase. The trap is equipped with a hole and green ties to facilitate hanging.

We had hundreds of gnats in our kitchen. I put three strips in three places in the kitchen. I put one directly over the garbage disposal, another directly over the trash can, and another over a basket of fruit. I also put out a small bowl with apple cider vinegar with a few drops of dish soap near the disposal. Guess what? after three days, I did not catch a single gnat with the strips. I did however, catch and kill several dozen with the vinegar. Don't waste your money, they do not work. I gave this a one star because there is nothing lower.

This item was not very good.

When I received this, I hung it up by the window to catch flies. The flies did not even go near this strip. I have the Suterra Sticky Trap hanging by the window and not a one fly was enticed to check it out. Would not order this again. I am rating this item with no stars..but have to have one to close out the form.
