Given wrong dosage by the Monterey horticulturalist

When "Complete Disease Control didn't save my plants, I sprayed them with this product, at the suggestion of the Monterey horticulturalist. He insisted I use 1 TABLESPOON per gallon of water. I used that amount, and it severely burned the leaves of two of my late mother's plants. It did not appear to help stop the disease at all. So I don't know how useful the product is.
