INFORMATION
The control of diseases with fungicides is based on PREVENTION. Plant surfaces must be completely covered with the fungicide to successfully prevent infection. Copper pesticides are considered preventative, not curative of plant diseases. Use the highest indicated rate when disease incidence is high or expected to be, depending on rainfall and temperature. The lower rate is suitable for general preventive sprays under normal conditions. Since weather conditions and disease incidence vary, consult your Agricultural Extension Service for timing and initial application.
PRODUCT INSTRUCTIONS
Seek advice on identifying specific disease problems and solutions from your local Agricultural Extension Agent or other knowledgeable persons. Partially fill the spray tank/container with water. Add the desired amount of LIQUI-COP and continue filling the tank/container. If applied with other products, add LIQUI-COP last. Agitate the tank during mixing and application until tank is empty. A plastic or metal stirring stick should provide adequate agitation.

Great Product for Veg & Tree Diseases
By Donna on 11/03/2016
I've used this for diseases on pecan, Magnolia fuscata (Banana Magnolia), fig, tomato, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, peppers. Works great if you catch it on time. I first started buying the pints, then finally found quarts. Use as directions state, usually 3 Tbsp per gallon.

Disappointed
By Steve on 08/01/2020
You could not provide the quantity of product I desired. I got one bottle not one case. Other product could not be shipped to Oregon, which is just weird because every garden and landscape store locally carries the product, just at a higher price. (Dormant Spray Oil) So let me know when I can re-order Liqui-Cop by the case.

Good Prevention for Tomato Wilt
By Hugh on 07/22/2022
I mix this product in a hand-held sprayer and apply it after each rain. This helps protect the plants from early death due to tomato wilt. I can keep my plants producing until first frost. It is a relatively cheap solution for tomato wilt.

If so, at what strength? frequency?
Yes, Monterey Liqui-Cop can be applied to grapes to control/prevent anthracose. As indicated on label, you will use 1 tsp of product into 1 gallon of water and apply just before bud break when the shoots are 6 – 8 inches long, just after bloom, and every 4 – 10 days throughout the season as needed. Foliar injury may occur on copper sensitive varieties
Monterey Liqui-Cop is labeled to control fireblight on apples. Labeled instructions are: Apply at 10% bloom and repeat at no less than 5 – 7 day intervals during the bloom period for lower rates. For higher rates: Apply once as a full cover spray between silver-tip and greentip. Do not apply when green-tip reaches ½ inch as injuries may occur
Do not use on copper sensitive varieties

Monterey Liqui-Cop is not labeled for lichen.
Monterey Liqui-Cop is not labeled for controlling diplodia tip blight or any other diseases on pine trees.
Clearys 3336F can be used for needle/diplodia tip blight on pine trees at a rate of 16-24 oz per 100 gallons of water. For smaller applications, you could also use Bonide INFUSE Systemic Disease Control.
Temperatures dropping down to freezing at night (20-30 degrees) and raining off and on throughout the daytime with temps around 40-50 degrees. Should I wait until temperatures do not drop down to freezing to apply?
Monterey Liqui-Cop should be applied when rainfall is not expected for atleast 24 hours to prevent the wind or rain from washing the application per the product label.
For timing recommendations and the affects of freezing temps during application, we would recommend contacting your County Extension Office in your area.
We recommend to keep all animals/pets out of the area until an application of Monterey Liqui-Cop has completely dried.
Please view the product label for more information.

Monterey Liqui-Cop should be used within 24 hours of mixing, which would also apply to almost all products on the market that start out as concentrates and are mixed with water. The longer solution stays in the tank, the more it breaks down to no longer be effective, and can also eat away at the seals and gaskets of your sprayer to cause it to no longer work effectively.
