    Can I add Mosquito Barrier to my misting system 55 Gal? I am tired of buying Riptide and getting poor results.
    My misting system sprays 3 times a day for 50 seconds each time.
    A
    No, Mosquito Barrier cannot be used in a misting system. Riptide is only a contact kill so it will only kill what it touches. Once it is dry, it is no longer active. If you are looking for something that has a quick knockdown, as well as a residual, we would recommend Sector Misting Concentrate. A half gallon will mix in a 55 gallon misting system.     Mosquito Barrier is an all natural, super strong, liquid garlic based formula that will keep pests like gnats, mosquitoes, ticks, fleas and ants out of your yard, golf courses, parks and fields. It does not contain chemicals so it is environmentally safe and safe for animals and humans. It does list on the label that it will repel deer, rabbits, turkeys, and songbirds. We do carry a repellent called Repels All that will repel Deer, Rabbits, Squirrels, Chipmunks, Dogs, Cats, Raccoons, Porcupines, Armadillos, Birds, Rats, Mice, Beaver, Ground hogs, Skunks, Voles, Moles and Shrews.

    Does Mosquito Barrier really work?
    I'm curious if this product will actually repel ALL mosquitos for a full month if properly applied according to the label and what recourse do I have if not satisfied its performance?

    Will this effect the hay, storage, or the animals that would be fed this hay?

    What is the mix rate for Mosquito Barrier in a Stihl power backpack mister/blower?
    A

    The Mosquito Barrier label recommends using about 2.5 ounces of product per gallon of water for heavy infestations. For best results, make your application early in the morning or in the evening, when mosquitoes are most active.

    Can I use this product with the solo fogger? I am assuming the products that come with the mosquito kit are
    For killing, but I want to use something that is safe as a repellant for follow up treatments.

    Yes, you may use the Mosquito Barrier in the Solo Mist Blower but it cannot be used in a fogger.

    We have quite a few lizards, skinks and green tree frogs, I am looking for something that will help with the mosquitoes but not harm them. Is mosquito barrier dangerous to them?

    Can I mix Mosquito Barrier with other DMOPC products?
    Mix with the BIFEN IT

    Mosquito Barrier works great by itself. We cannot recommend to mix Bifen in with Mosquito Barrier because the mode of action is different. Bifen kills by the insect coming in contact with it. Mosquito Barrier repels the mosquitoes.

    Will Mosquito Barrier harm bees?
    We have a garden and many flowering plants and flowers. Is this product safe for bees?
    A

    Mosquito Barrier should not harm bees once the treated area has dried, but it could potentially harm them if they are in the area during application.  We would recommend applying in the early morning or late evening when the bees are less active in order to avoid contact.

    Mosquito Barrier should be mixed with water and applied with a hand pump sprayer, backpack sprayer or a mist blower. Please let us know if you need anything else.

    The Mosquito Barrier product does not need to be strained through anything and can be used in almost any type of sprayer you have to apply it with.

    Will Mosquito Barrier control midge larvae or adults or spiders?

    Mosquito Barrier is not labeled for spiders or midges, it is labeled for gnats though so could kill midges sprayed during application.  For spiders it would be best to use a residual product such as Cyzmic CS.

    Yes, Mosquito Barrier can be used for fogging. For fogging machines, a higher concentration of Mosquito Barrier is necessary at the minimum rate of 12 ounces of Mosquito Barrier per gallon of water.
