It is not required to use a surfactant with any of the products in the Mosquito Control Kit - Professional, but adding one may increase the effectiveness and help them stick to waxy leaves better.
Mosquito Control Kit - Professional is safe to apply to all non edible plants. Key with mosquito control is to apply to the underside of the leaves where the adults lay during the day.
You will use the Mosquito Control Kit - Professional every 30-60 days as needed during warmer weather. Mosquito activity normally begins after temperatures start to exceed 50 degrees F.
The products in the Mosquito Control Kit - Professional will have a shelf life of 3-5 years if stored properly in a temperature stable environment (between 45 and 75 degrees) and out of direct sunlight.
If a bird were to consume an insect killed by the Mosquito Control Kit - Professional it could potentially be harmful to the bird. It is highly unlikely since the amount of active ingredient is only large enough to kill small insects, but birds are very sensitive and there is a possibility. The liquid concentrates in the Mosquito Control Kit - Professional can be used in a hand pump sprayer, backpack sprayer or mist blower.
If you are going to be treating your own home or property, you do not need to have a license in order to buy the Mosquito Control Kit - Professional. If you are applying for profit, then you will need a license.
The products in our Mosquito Control Kit - Professional should be applied when no rain is expected within 24 hours so the same applies with irrigation systems and watering. For mosquitoes key is to apply to the underside of leaves on trees/bushes which is there the adults lay during the day, as well as shady areas. You would not treat entire areas of the lawn that are in full sun as it is not habitable for them there.
You can apply Bifen and Tekko once a month. Exciter is only a knockdown product that is used when you want to kill insects out in the open during application faster and can be used once every 7 days
The Talstar P in the Mosquito Control Kit - Professional uses the same active ingredient bifenthrin that is in the generic brand Bifen IT. Talstar P is the name brand, Bifen IT is the generic brand. These two products would not be tank mixed together as they are essentially the same product.
The Talstar P, ExciteR and Archer IGR can all be tank mixed together in one tank for a 3 in 1 spray application. Talstar P provides the 21-30 day residual, ExciteR is the contact kill/knockdown and Archer IGR is the insect growth regulator to help stop the growth cycle.

It is recommended to mix the concentrates in the Mosquito Control Kit - Professional (as directed) and apply within 24 hours of diluting with water.
The concentrate products in the Mosquito Control Kit - Professional are rofessional grade. Most Ryobi products state not to use professional grade products in them. We would recommend contacting the manufacturer first.
