    Is there any product you can use in this to also kill ticks.

    This kit comes with Talstar P and Archer IGR which bot targets ticks and other insects.  Talstar P mixed with  Archer is a good choice for tick control. Talstar P would work to kill ticks that come into contact with treated surfaces while the Archer would work to help stop juvenile ticks from reaching sexual maturity. You should remember that ticks may be hidden in tall or dense brush so higher treatment volumes may be needed to treat the entire plant, not just the top side of the plant where it is easiest to spray. You should try to get the application on the underside of leaves and all the way to the bottom of the plant. We recommend treating the entire infested area (no spot treating). When you are dealing with an area that has a high tick population you may be required to treat once a month from spring through to the first frost, no matter what product you use.

    What about Butterfly's are they in danger if product isused
    Also passing bees.

    The Talstar P  that is in the Mosquito Control Kit - Ultimate can harm beneficial insects like bees and butterflies that come into contact with treated areas. The best way to reduce the chance of the Talstar affecting the bees, butterflies and beneficial insects is to spray later in the day when they are not active and are back in their homes/nests and try to avoid blooms of flowers and plants they would be using for pollination.

    How do I mix this all together to treat my lawn?
    I have a 1acre lot that I would like to treat. Can I mix these all together into the mayurama mist blower? If so what would the mixture be of each checmical?
    A
    Dilute Talstar P at a rate of 1 oz. of concentrate per gallon of water or per 1,000 square feet of area to be treated. Dilute Archer IGR at a rate of 1 oz. of concentrate per gallon of water or per 1,000 square feet. Dilute ExciteR at a rate of 0.25 - 0.50 oz. of concentrate per 1,000 square feet for most applications. Higher rates may be used for cleanout of very heavy populations: see the product label for complete use rates.     Indoor use
    I see another question was answered for indoor use only related to Talstar. Is there any specific reason we cannot use this indoors?

    We do not recommend applying the Mosquito Control Kit - Ultimate with the Maruyama MM91V Mist Blower indoors. Talstar P Professional Insecticide, Archer IGR, and ExciteR Insecticide can be applied using a hand pump sprayer to indoor cracks and crevices, window, and door frames.

    The chemicals in the Mosquito Control Kit – Ultimate are safe for grass and shrubs as long as they’re used as directed. To avoid any possible damage though, we also recommend to avoid spraying in the heat of the day.

    Can I apply the products in the Mosquito Control Kit - Ultimate around horse watering troughs? What if the mist gets into the trough?
    If we are spraying around our trees and it gets into the watering troughs, do we need to dump them out or will they be ok? I would also like to spray around our pond if it gets into the pond will the fish be ok?

    If any spray from the products in the Mosquito Control Kit - Ultimate got into the troughs, they need to be dumped out.  Keep spray at least 25 feet from the pond.

    Will products in the Mosquito Control Kit - Ultimate control biting insects and common black flies, too?
    Hello, our large river front field also produces some nasty ankle biting insects and common black flies, will the products in the mosquito control kit kill them as well?
    A

    The insecticides in our Mosquito Control Kit – Ultimate are broad-spectrum products which will treat other flying  and crawling insects. Talstar P is a residual insecticide, ExciteR is a contact kill product, and the Tekko Pro is an Insect Growth Regulator which targets many, but not all, insects. The Altosid Pro-G is a larvicide for mosquitoes, specifically, for use in containerized water and standing water. If you have regular house/filth flies in the area, then you can also use products specifically for them, such as Flies Be Gone disposable fly traps.

    What would be better the backpack Mister or towable sprayer for a 2 acre wooded area?
    I have used the Talstar P product and it works great the issue I am having is I am not sure if I should go with the backpack mister, or get a good high power towable sprayer. I want to treat a 2 acre wet wooded area around my house and hit the house as well to keep ants and spiders out. Does the mister use less product, provide better coverage, or is faster or is it just a function of which I have more use for? I could see the towable sprayer having the advantage of the large capacity but may not be able to get as fine of droplets.

    We recommend using the 451 Mist blower as a means to treat higher areas than pump sprayers will reach. Most hand help pump sprayer will only spray approx. 15 feet into the air. The mist Blower can get heavy, so it may be easier to use the towable sprayer for the coverage area.

    Will the Solo mosquito control products kill lightning bugs too?

    Are you referring to the products that come in the Mosquito Control Kit - Ultimate (which includes the Solo 451)?  If so, then yes - most insecticides are not really selective in what they kill, so these products would also kill lightning bugs if the lightning bugs were to come into contact with a treated area.

    Can I add Onslaught to the recommended mixture in the Mosquito Conrol Kit?
    How much Onslaught would I use?
    A

    You can use either Onslaught OR you can use the Talstar that is included in the Mosquito Control Kit-Ultimate, but you would not ever mix Talstar and Onslaught together to use at the same time. If you want you can rotate every other treatment with Onslaught and Talstar each time you treat every month.  Onslaught would be mixed at 0.5 to 1 oz per gallon of water.

    Can the Mosquito Control Kit - Ultimate be adapted to my leaf blower?

    Although, the Solo 451 is similar to leaf blowers the products in the Mosquito Control Kit - Ultimate are not labeled to be applied with leaf blowers. We could not recommend it.

    With mosquito treatment and with the use of Talstar would you spray or fog the lawn with it?

    When applying Talstar for mosquitoes you want to spray or you can use the Solo 451 Mist Blower.
