Mexican Twig Ants vs. Permethrin

Location: East Texas. Timeframe: Summer 2019: I have a colony of Mexican Twig Ants/elongated ants living in a Wisteria vine which covers the top of my pergola. These Twig Ants come down the columns and vines to hunt for protein. My pest control company was ineffective so I took matters into my own hands. I have removed all dead branches from the Wisteria. I'm using a combination of permethrin and Onslaught Fastcap (spider/scorpion) and so far I have achieved limited success after two sprayings. I will continue my efforts to eradicated these little bastards because their sting is painful and make large red areas at the bite wound. Takes a couple of weeks to heal

excellent product for outdoor fleas control my outdoor patio cravel area have fleas i used bifin it no result what so ever after 3 treatment of bifin it over 10 days period no result used permethrin real effective for fleas control mixed with igr guard in spray bottel attached to garden hose saturated the area where fleas problem

Very effective fungus gnat control

While I bought Permethrin SFR 36.8% for ant control (worked well), I was pleased to see that it is also listed for fungus gnats. When used as a soil drench at the recommended low concentration of 0.025% it completely wiped out a major fungus gnat infestation which has been plaguing my large hippeastrum collection for years, killing hundreds of bulbs and resisting every other control method I have tried.

Worked great!

I used this product at a 1% mixture based upon the instructions to deal with carpenter bees that were destroying a lot of my wooden structures. It worked perfectly! Between the traps I already had deployed and the Permethrin all activity for the carpenter bees and ground bees ceased within 3 days. My backyard is passable again.

Unfortunately I live in the bay area of California and it's known for it's fleas. I use this product inside and outside the home and have had great success with it I've tried other sprays, granules, etc, and I am sticking with what works. I am sticking with this product.

I have an old English Tudor, mostly cedar wood and stucco. Was ravaged by carpenter bees, paper wasps and yellow jackets. been using Permethrin for 3 years now. Doesn’t knock them down but within a few days there buzzing on the ground everywhere. No ants or spiders either. North East Ohio.

Bees be gone

I bought this product to help get rid of carpenter bees. I sprayed it all over the wood and in the holes. It was immediately quieter, not the constant buzzing. The next day they were all but gone. Just a couple left in places that I was unable to spray.

The jug it came in is so cheap and thin it was collapsing setting on a table !!! I cleaned out a older oil jug and moved product it to it !! At over 120.00 a jug they could make a jug to last . Hard to believe it made it to me although it was wrapped HEAVILY in BUBBLE wrap.

The problem with this product isn't that it's ineffective, because it seems to do as well as any, but it's really very oily. It's so oily that it's like spraying engine oil all over the house. Then it's so slick that I had to be careful not to fall. It doesn't seem to be any more effective against fleas than any of the other good flea sprays, so I probably won't ever use it again. I'm still searching for a product that I used several years ago that killed all the fleas in one spraying. This last product wasn't it.
