    How do I mix 36.8% permethrin to use in a garden hose sprayer?
    I have a Chapin G362 Precision Hose End Sprayer and need to spray a large sandy area outside my house for a heavy flea infestation. Can you advise me how to mix the proper dilution to make 100 gallons of 36.8% permethrin to use? Also, do you ship through DPO?

    You will use 4-8 fl. oz. of Permethrin SFR 36.8% per 100 gallons of water. We would recommend using the higher rate for moderate to high infestations.

    Can I mix Permethrin with Triplet and apply it with a Permagreen sprayer/spreader?
    12 gallons does about 35000 sq ft

    We apologize we are not familiar with Triplet. Permthrin SFR is a great product, but we cannot recommend to mix the products together as we are unsure of the outcome. Most times we recommend to try a tank mix and if that works then the products should be able to be applied together.

    How do I mix Nyguard and Permethrin SFR to treat fleas indoors?
    How much Nyguard do I mix per one gallon of the Permethrin for flea control in the home? I got the ratio for Permethrin and water mix, but how much Nyguard do I mix in?
    A

    When mixing Nyguard with Permethrin it states on the label to apply as a general surface application at the rate of 4 ml. in one gallon of water to treat 1,500 square feet. You may use up to 12 ml. per 1,500 square feet for insect populations that are difficult to control on in conditions that make it difficult to get control of target pests.     Can you mix Permethrin SFR 36.8% and Talstar P together for a war against bugs?
    A

    Permethrin SFR 36.8% and TALSTAR PRO should not be mixed together. That would be over application. You can mix Talstar with Exponent for a super kick against insects.

    Can Permethrin and Talstar be combined to spray indoors to knock down and control a flea infestation?
    A

    Talstar P and Permethrin SFR should not be mixed. Talstar P should not be used indoors to treat fleas as it can only be applied to cracks and crevices. Please take a few moments to read over our article How to Get Rid of Fleas to learn how to implement a successful Flea control program.

    If I double the Permethrin SFR 36.8% rate per gallon can I spray half the gallons per 1000 square feet?
    A

    We do not recommend over applying Permethrin SFR 36.8%. It would be a waste of product and could also create repellent tendencies. You don't want the insects to realize they are traveling over the treated area so that they will contact the application and die.

    How often should you re-treat with Permethrin SFR for tick control?
    A

    We recommend retreating with Permethrin SFR after 30 days for tick control. You may also want to add an Insect Growth Regulator for higher populations. Please see our Tick Treatment Guide for additional tips and information.

    Will Permethrin SFR 36.8% be effective next spring for Browntail moth control?
    We live in coastal Maine and have lots of Browntail moth caterpillar webs high up in our oak trees. Is this product recommended for this use?
    A

    Permethrin SFR 36.8% can be effective against Browntail Moths but direct contact must be made to increase the effectiveness. Pesticides should be applied when caterpillars are small and feeding, usually before the end of May.

    Control of browntail moth populations in isolated areas may be obtained by clipping the overwintering webs and destroying these webs by either soaking in soapy water or burning them, according to the law ordinances in your county. This control should be undertaken in the winter and very early spring. For more information you can contact your local cooperative extension office.

    Will Permetherin SFR 36.8% kill chiggers?
    If not is there a recommendation of what will?

    Permethrin SFR 36.8% is not labeled for chiggers and will not provide adequate results for you. Onslaught Insecticide is labeled for chiggers and can be used both indoors and outdoors as a broadcast spray. Keep in mind chiggers are not known to infest structures. Chiggers are most likely outdoors in your yard. Many people are lead to believe that the infestation is indoors because they do not feel the effects of the chigger bites right away and then are lead to believe they are being bitten at a later time.

    No, Permethrin SFR 36.8% cannot be used in a fogger/mister. This product should only be used in a pump sprayer.

    Permethrin SFR 36.8% is not labeled to treat for white grubs. Milky Spore Spreader Mix is a great long term control granule for white grubs.     Can adding Permethrin SFR to Demand CS add a "kick" against AZ scorpions?
    I was told by an exterminator that this combo is very effective against bark scorpions applied monthly. Do you have any thoughts on the matter? If so, how much SFR would you recommend be included per gal?

    Permethrin SFR 36.8%  and Demand CS should not be mixed together. We recommend applying Demand CS alone for treating scorpions at a rate of 24 ml per gallon of water per 1,000 sq ft.     I'm trying to keep maggots away, will this help?

    Permethrin SFR is a broad-spectrum insecticide that will flies and other common pests that contact the active ingredient or treated surfaces. Keep in mind that good fly control is dependent on locating and eliminating the breeding sites for these flies. Our Fly Treatment Guide has more tips on treating this pest.

    How many liters does a quart of Permethrin SFR 36.8% make when diluted at 2% concentration?
    A

    To use Permethrin SFR 36.8% at a 2% solution, you would use 6 2/3 fl. oz. of concentrate with 121 1/3 oz of water to make 1 gallon of solution. That means a quart (32 oz) of concentrate would make about 4.8 gallons, or about 18 L of solution. Keep in mind that dilution rate is only for certain termite applications and not for general pest control use.

    Is Permethrin SFR caustic or acidic?
    Will it damage my pressure washer (Greenworks GPW 2800) if I use the product in the soap tank?

    Permethrin SFR 36.8% would be considered acidic with a ph level between 4.8 to 5.0. The recommended psi for applications is not to go over 25 psi or 20 psi in some cases. We would recommend contacting the manufcaturer of your pressure washer and Control Solutions directly. The number for Control Solutions si 281-892-2500
