For best results with surface or carpet treatments, vacuum thoroughly before spraying and empty the vacuum bag or cannister outside.
Yes, using detergents or solvents with friction on surfaces treated with Precor 2000 Plus Premise Spray will reduce the residual on hard surfaces. We recommend vacuuming before treatment, and mopping before treatment if you are going to do so. You should retreat at 2 week intervals for active flea infestations. After it is dry which usually takes about an hour, it is perfectly safe to allow children back in the treated areas. Only tiny insects have the capability of coming into contact with such small particles on the carpet fibers.
Precor 2000 Plus Premise Spray already contains an IGR, so a separate IGR is not necessaryd. If you plan to fog to contact kill those out in the open you would do that before applying the Precor 2000. Please take a look at our Flea Control Guide for more information.

Yes, Precor 2000 Plus Premise Spray is a wonderful aerosol spray for fleas. It contains an IGR (insect growth regulator) that stops the fleas from reproducing. They will need to vacuum daily for 2 weeks and then the Precor 2000 will be sprayed again.
If you wanted to just use two products, for indoor and outdoors, we would recommend the Outdoor/Indoor Flea Kit. The kit comes with Onslaught and Martins IGR. For the first treatment, you will use 0.5 fl. oz. to 1.0 fl. oz. of Onsalught with a gallon of water and also 1 fl. oz. of Martins IGR for both indoors and outdoors. Indoors, you will still vacuum every day for 14 days and do another treatment of Onslaught, not the IGR.
