It is not unusual to need 2-3 or even more treatments to completely eradicate fleas. Flea eggs hatch in about 10-14 days, but newly hatched immature fleas will be exposed to the IGR that is in the Precor 2000 Plus Premise Spray. I would continue to vacuum regularly to help stimulate any possible immature fleas that are left and to remove remaining eggs, flea dirt, and adults, and then you could retreat with Precor if you are still seeing activity.
The IGR in the Precor 2000 Plus Premise Spray provides up to 7 month residual. However, any type of shampooing will take the residuals of these products completely out of your carpeted areas. We recommend that you leave the products in place so that they can continue to work for you against a re-infestation.
When spraying Precor 2000 Plus Premise Spray it is important that everyone except for the applicator is out of the area during the application. Everyone is free to return to the treated area as soon as it has had time to dry completely, which is typically 1-2 hours. Drying time will vary depending on how heavy the product was applied.
