Controlling and Eliminating Ants with Intice Thiquid Ant Bait:
First ants will come in large numbers, but soon disappear. This product is formulated to allow worker ants to consume the product and survive long enough to carry the liquid back to the nest and deliver a dose to the rest of the colony. Monitor the placements and ensure there is always a fresh supply of InTice Thiquid Ant Bait at each placement. Complete control may take up to two weeks.

Using InTice Thiquid Ant Bait:
Apply the product to small pieces of cardboard, paper or foil, or in purpose built bait stations and place product in inaccessible areas where ants are seen, such as the edges of sinks, tubs, window sills, under food cabinets, along floors and base boards and in corners. Use plenty of bait placements, the more bait placements the better. Since invading ants usually have outdoor nesting sites, it often helps to put the product outside, close to where ants are found entering the structure. Ants typically follow defined trails from the nest to food or water. Placing InTice Bait close to these trails will improve control.

Using InTice Thiquid Ant Bait as a Perimeter Ant Defense System:
Locate areas around the building where ants are seen trailing. Place the bait stations against the foundation where the trails are found. Spacing the bait stations every 5 to 10 feet will provide the best results. Check the bait stations regularly for activity. Remember ants will feed on InTice Thiquid Ant Bait and carry the bait back to the rest of the colony. Heavy infestations may require several bait placement refills and up to two weeks for control.

InTice Thiquid Ant Bait can be diluted with water to obtain a 1% or 2.5% solution of Borax. Such a dilution is helpful when a substantial volume of InTice Thiquid Bait is needed in a baiting program designed to control very large multi-queen and multi-colony ant infestations.
• 1% Dilution: 1 part InTice Thiquid Ant Bait to 4 parts water. Mix thoroughly.
• 2.5% Dilution: 1 part InTice Thiquid Ant Bait to 1 part water. Mix thoroughly.

Using InTice Thiquid Bait in Bait Stations:
Apply the 1% or 2.5% InTice Thiquid Ant Bait solution using bait stations designed to hold bait. This product will work well in Rockwell’s BaitPlate, D-Sect and PFT stations (sold separately).

Use what the Pros use and save hundreds of dollars

    By Gary on 04/20/2012

    Verified Purchase

Last year I had a huge ant problem all over my counter tops. The local depots did not have the ant bait to do the job so I reached deep into my pocket and dished out $130.00 have a commercial pest company kill them. I happened to see and read the label of the anti bait he was using and I made a note of it. I searched for Intice on the internet and discovered I could have saved myself a lot of money! So I chalked this up as learning experience. Had I not paid for the pest control to come over I would not have discovered Intice ant bait. DoMyOwnPestControl was the top website that carried this product and sold it at a reasonable price. Hey, for $15.48 a 4oz. bottle do yourself a huge favor get the process moving and buy a bottle and before you know it will be at your door. The next time those pesky sugar ants are seen, drop a few strips of Intice down and its game on!

Not as good as Walmart product

    By Homeowner on 04/05/2017

I bought some of this to try on little black ants. When I put it out in the area where I saw them, it would get a few ants feeding. Then I put some "Revenge" (a similar clear syrup poison from Walmart) out, and overnight I had a caravan of ants coming to feed, with the bait fully encircled. Next, I put out a card with a big drop of Intice alongside of a big drop of Revenge. Within 30 minutes, I could see that the Revenge was attracting more ants. After an hour, the Revenge was fully encirled, the Intice only about 50%. So it appears that the Walmart bait is more attractive to ants.

Q
Does the Intice Thiquid Ant Bait have a shelf life, expiration date? I have a bottle about 5 years old and it doesn't seem to be working anymore.
A

Intice Thiquid Ant Bait does not really have an expiration date because the effectiveness of the active ingredient does not diminish over time. However, like any food-based product, the bait may become less appetizing to foraging ants after an extended shelf life. We recommend using fresh bait if you've had the same stations for more than two years.
