Agrisel Pendi Hydrocap Pre-Emergent Herbicide is a high-quality, cost-efficient herbicide that controls over 50 broadleaf and grassy weeds for up to 6 months.  It contains an encpasulated, water-based formulation of pendimethalin with reduced staining potential and low odor.  Ideal for use in and around gardens, ornamentals, lawns, landscaped areas, and golf courses.  Mix at the rate of 1.1-2.3 oz per 1000 sq. ft.  See label for complete application instructions.

How many gallons of water with Agrisel Pendi Hydrocap Pre - Emergent Herbicide should I use?

The amount of Agrisel Pendi Hydrocap Pre-Emergent Herbicide that you will use is 1.1 oz. to 2.3 oz. of product /1,000 sq. ft., depending on your specific lawn type and the weeds you are targeting.  The amount of water you use will depend on how much water it takes you to cover that much area, but typically it is at least 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq ft. Please refer to the product label for specific mixing and application instructions, and use as directed.

Will Agrisel Pendi Hydrocap Pre - Emergent Herbicide kill weeds in the lawn without killing the turfgrass?

Agrisel Pendi Hydrocap Pre - Emergent Herbicide is safe for both cool and warm season turfgrasses when used at the rates listed per the product label.

What is the maximum amount (fl. oz per 1000) of AI, Pendimethalin 38.7%, can I put down per year? This will be on hybrid Bermuda.

When is the best time to apply Agrisel Pendi Hydrocap Pre - Emergent Herbicide for pre-emergent control of sticker weeds in my lawn?

Depending on where you live, fall pre-emergent applications should be done between August and November when the soil temperature is below 70 degrees and dropping. You should also apply a pre-emergent in early spring usually between Ferbruary and late May after the ground has thawed from winter but before he soil temperature has reached 55 degrees up to 65 degrees.

We do have a general Lawn Care Schedule Calendar for Warm and Cool Season turfgrasses or you can always reach out to your local extension office for best timing in your area.
