Product Overview

Crossroad Herbicide is a selective herbicide that controls a wide range of unwanted trees, woody plants, and brush. Can also be used to effectively control annual and perennial broadleaf weeds found in CRP acres, fence rows, rangeland, permanent grass pastures, turf, and other non-crop and industrial areas. Developed with a synthetic auxin growth regulator (2,4-D) to efficiently deal with stubborn unwanted plants. Crossroad Herbicide can be combined with liquid nitrogen fertilizers used for a broadcast application, and can also be applied by ground or by aerial application treatment. The best time to apply is when woody plants are actively growing (see the label for the complete application instructions).

RANGELAND & PASTURE RESTRICTIONS:

  • Do not apply more than 4 quarts per acre per application.
  • Do not make more than one application per year.
  • Pre-Harvest Interval is 14 days.
  • If the grass is to be cut for hay, Agricultural Use Requirements for the Worker Protection Standard are applicable.
  • Do not apply more than 1 pound 2,4-D a.e. per application (2 quarts product) for susceptible annual and biennial broadleaf weeds.

NON-CROPLAND RESTRICTIONS:

  • Postemergence (annual & perennial weeds):
    • Do not make more than 1 application per year.
    • Do not apply more than 4 quarts per acre per application.
    • Minimum spray interval between applications is 30 days.
  • Postemergence (woody plants):
    • Do not make more than 1 application per year.
    • Do not apply more than 4 quarts per acre per application.

Can Crossroad Herbicide be sprayed on Bermuda grass lawn for control of the listed weeds?

The label didn’t call out Bermuda grass specifically, but I would assume that “Pastures” would include a Bermuda grass pasture and therefore be safe on residential Bermuda. Is this correct?

Crossbow Herbicide  is not supposed to harm established grasses in the listed areas, but it does contain Triclopyr which can injure bermuda.  This being said, we always recommend treating a small area first to test the results.  As long as your grass is not stressed by drought and it is healthy the grass will not be harmed. We do not suggest applications during the heat of the day and while other stress factors to the treatment surfaces, nor during transition periods in spring and fall.
