    Precor IGR Concentrate

    By Herbert on 05/22/2012

Has not worked as advertised. I mixed a little stronger than the instructions suggested and no go.

This person only purchased Precor IGR. Precor IGR is a growth regulator and does not kill any fleas. It is made to prevent fleas from maturing into reproducing adults. IGR's are meant to be applied with another product that will actually kill the adults. IGR by itself will not yield any immediate results and will not kill any adult fleas.

Typically most liquid applications take about 30 mintues to dry.  Specific times will vary based on temperature in the home and other factors.

    Q
Is it safe to apply Precor IGR to mattresses and box springs for flea control?

You do not need to actually spray the mattress and boxspring with Precor for it to effect fleas that may be hidden there. If you spray around the area where the bed is located the fleas will still be …
