Pyranha Bug Armor, previously known as Pyranha 1-10 PX is a mosquito misting system and ULV fogging concentrate with 10% Permethrin and 10% Piperonyl butoxide for more effective flying and crawling insect control. Pyranha 1-10 PX kills mosquitoes, cockroaches, wasps, moths, asian lady beetles, crickets, spiders and other small biting/flying insects. Bug Armor is water-based. Use 1 half gallon of solution per 55-gallon misting system.

This is the first summer out of 5 that we have used something other than RipTide in our misting system: which was about 85-90% effective against Mosquitoes. Living in the woods near the river made it a great breading grounds for mosquitoes. I found Pyranha on your website with one positive review. We tried it and have found it to be 100% effective against mosquitoes. In fact we spend Memorial Day around our pool without a single complaint that someone got bite by a MOSQUITOE! I plan to reorder the rest of the summer for a mosquito free backyard.

We are using this in our fogger and it doesn't have a harsh odor or smell. It kills instantly. It does harm some plants and leaves like a "burn"effect. It will discolor flowers. But in this case what's worse the bugs or clipping flowers. It seems though that it has to have instant contact in order to kill. I'm a first time user so I don't know what the long term affects are.

I live in Dallas and water the yard 2 to 3 times a week during summer months - does water/rain effect the product longevity?
Riptide recommends pH adjustment to 5.5 to 7.0 and I could not find any info on the Pyranha product about this to maintain product viability.

My horses usually only spend 1/3 of their day in their stalls with my misters. It would be great to use the same product for the misters as well as a direct apply repellant when they get turned out. Thanks.
