    Q
Can a MSO be added to Q4 for increased effectiveness?
    A

Neither a MSO nor a non ionic surfactant are recommended to be tank mixed with Q4 Plus Turf Herbicide

Per the product label, Certain spray tank additives such as surfactants may reduce the selectivity on the turfgrass.  Use adjuvants only when your experience indicates that the tank mixture will not result in objectionable turf injury.

    Q
Can Q4 Plus Turf Herbicide be used to spot treat weeds in bermuda any time of year?
The weeds in yard were treated by a professional yard treatment company about 4 to 6 weeks ago. However, I still have weeds, and new weeds are growing. Can I spot treat the weeds as many times as it takes to get rid of the weeds? Or, should I do a one-time broadcast treatment with Q4? Also, should I use 1.8 oz or 2.5 oz per gallon of water? I am in Georgia.
    A

Q4 Plus Turf Herbicide can only be applied as a broadcast twice a year with 30 days in between each application. Spot treatments when weeds are actively growing in Spring and Summer can help with sparse weed control or as a follow up application to a broadcast on an “as needed” basis.

Whether you are doing broadcast or spot treatment applications, be sure you do not exceed the maximum rate allowed per calendar for bermuda which is 5 to 7 pints/per acre or 1.8 fl oz to 2.6 fl oz per 1000 sq ft.

Spot treatments for bermuda are applied at the rate of 1.84 fl to 2.57 fl oz in 1 gallon of water per 1000 sq ft.

Keep in mind, weed control can vary depending on the specific weeds being targeted, if they are young vs mature weeds, the density of weed infestations and also weather/soil conditions.

    Q
Yes can I mix Q4 Plus and Drive XLR8 together to have better knockdown on crabgrass?
I can't find Tribute Total and trying to make a kind of a one-and-done product so I know what Q4 does and I know what Drive does but if I mix them together will that be detrimental to the turf grass?
    A

We would not recommend doing so as Q4 Plus has Quinclorac in it, which is the active ingredient for Drive XLR8.  Adding too much can cause injury to your lawn.

    Q
Hello, can I scarify/Verticut my Bermuda lawn before applying Q4? If so, how long should I wait before apply?
    A

We recommend waiting about two weeks or more after applying Q4 Plus Turf Herbicide before you aerate or dethatch the lawn. This is to allow enough time for the target plants to die completely before you dig up their roots.

    Q
Can Q4 and Fusilade II be tank mixed for treating broadleaf weeds and bermudagrass in a Zenith Zoysiagrass lawn?
    A

We would suggest doing a compatibility test before tank mixinging Q4 Plus Turf Herbicide & Fusilade Herbicide together. Using a small jar, mix both products according the tank mixing instructions on the more restrictive labeling of the two (Fusilade II product label) and look for separation and clumping.

Fusilade II is labeled to be used on Zoysiagrass but states it is not for use on home lawns. Q4 is labeled to control both bermudagrass and zoysiagrass and temporary discoloration should be expected and a test application should be done and wait 30 days before treating the entire yard. We recommend reviewing the Bermudagrass and Zoysiagrass Advisements in Table 3 on the Q4 product label
