I bought five of these from a rodent control guy. I originally bought four and then I wanted another one and couldn't find them online. I guess I didn't look hard enough, because they're here! Anyway, I was very concerned about putting rat poison in my yard because I have dogs (including a very curious tiny one). However, when I saw and handled these bait stations, my fears were allayed. The concrete blocks mean they stay where you put them, the sturdy hinges and the lock mean the lid stays closed, and the way the inside of the station is set up, even a tiny dog can't get to the bait. She can try to stick her nose in there, but access to the baits is blocked. One of my neighbors who has young children is thinking about putting some bait stations in his yard, and I'll definitely recommend these.

Really like these stations. Where I use them I have opossums, coons, skunks ect. The design of these boxes are very good and these critters cannot reach inside to get the bait. The weight of the boxes keeps them from moving them around and they leave them alone.

This station is nicely weighted and blends in with the environment. HOWEVER, the squirrels got frustrated, thinking the holes were too small for them to go in, and they CHEWED giant holes in BOTH of the boxes we ordered, in about 10 days. Both traps are now UNUSABLE, and we only had them less than 2 weeks. :(

I have used three different types of bait stations in the past and I really like these stations I have three now. The concrete weight is just right so possums and coons do not drag them around. Also the design of the box with a smooth flat top and the enclosed part where the bait is placed on vertical plastic post or use the two horizontal wires or both for bait placement. If you notice a possum or coon cannot reach inside to the bait and rob it the way its designed. I put two different type baits in them just to see which one the rodents like most. I'm sold on these boxes.

A good outdoor rodent trap. Suggest you not order many at once because they can damage each other in shipping due to weight and less-than-careful packing. The cement ballast deflated all of the air bags they used to pack, and damaged one of the traps that was packed in with the three stations. The product itself, is fine. Would have given 5 stars if received in better condition. I did not get one key apiece, you only (evidently) get one key per -order-.

I just picked up two of these and it is nicely made. One thing to note that I didn't see on the description is the physical size of these. Including the weight on the bottom this is about 4-5 inches High. 10-12 inches wide and 7-8 inches deep. The entrance size is more "rat" sized compared to mouse. Had i realized the size I probably would have opted for a different station.

Does as advertised. My Labrador gave it one look and never paid attention to it since. The semi infestation of rats has gone away in 2 weeks. Only gripe is the 1 key per set. WTF??? Buy it and kill em all

We live on a hobby farm-- these units with the attached weight are much better than the older models that used ground stakes. Lost a star because keys are not included, as pictured (ordered 6-pack, received 1 key).

Bait works. Rats slowly dying off. They pull the packets out of the station though so if you have pets, wire the bait (we used 4 pieces) and place inside bait station. Bait will remain in place. I also put loose bait packets on roof. The rats seem to like this stuff.

The bait boxes are nice and work well with the Final bait blocks as far as set up. Don't know how well the bait works yet. I was aggravated that I only received one key for four bait boxes. I got two for my daughter so I guess I'll have to go over there and check the bait since I only got one key. Stinginess with keys and the fact that one was received with a broken off corner of the concrete yields three stars.

I have been paying a pest control service almost $400 annually for 3 bait boxes which they monitored quarterly. My initial investment for DoMyOwn 4 bait stations and 144 baits was less than half what I was paying the service. I estimate that I will have enough bait to last about 18 mos. and the stations are forever! Being able to check for activity as often as I wish gives me great peace of mind.

We had a pest control put 100 rat bait stations in our HOA complex. Once the problem was gone they left the stations for us. Over the years some mysteriously disappeared so we were looking for replacements that are just as sturdy as the ones from the pest control company. Fortunately we found these from DoMyOwn. They are heavy so prevent tipping, come with a key to open, and all of the options to put the food vertical or horizontal. They work great and look as good as the ones we have. They may be more expensive than the ones without a weight (which we also bought) but these are definitely better and longer lasting. Very happy with the purchase. Loved it so much bought it twice!

Had one small issue where the key was not included. Customer Service was excellent and sent one right out. Everything else was great. Mice don't stand a chance.

I ordered these bait station thinking they would be cheap a station, when they came in they are professional grade stations and work awesome. Professionals use the same ones and charge $75 a month for there service. Thanks for a great product.

Ordered 12 bait stations eleven of them were delivered fine but during shipment one was broken. DoMyOwn customer service was great to send me another out right away, but it was broken on arrival as well. The bait stations are great though and overall I as well as my customer's are happy as well. DoMyOwn was nice to give me a refund on the broken bait station due to bad shipments.

I purchased these to replace the units I had for several months from a professional pest control company. They are the same high quality that they had used. I am looking forward to not having to repair yard damage from the voles.

Good bait Station. Comes with cement type base to prevent tip over and movement. Easy to bait and comes with a key. Shipping was free . Price was good also.

Order 2 bait stations. 10 days later called as I had never received order confirmation. No reply in junk mail either! Supposedly they were waiting on keys. They apologized and had the stations sent from Salt Lake City warehouse. Both were thrown in a box and one was damage. Replacement was sent, arrived and STILL NO KEY!!! I contacted Do My Own and a key was sent! 10 days later, due to sending USPS I still didn't have Key! Contacted and key was overnighted! One month later, I have the traps set and using them! Fortunately I had purchased bait fro another source. Also no instructions what so ever with traps!! Not impressed!

Only problem i have is they wont hold a trex trap , only holds catchmaster easy set trap and those are not always carried by my local guy

they seem like secure boxes, but the bait lays sideways on a bar and neither box has been entered by the rats. the baits are untouched yet other boxes are being entered and baits eaten. i moved them around and exchanged them to the areas with action and still untouched. something about them is turning off the rats.

These traps are heavy and substantial, and probably the best on the market. I like the hinged top. Most of these traps like this have a thin plastic hinge that breaks after some number of uses, and especially so in cold weather.

Heavy Duty. Ordered 5. All arrived nicely. Contract All Weather Blox work well inside controlling the mice and rats. Experimented with a few locations around the property and discovered we really have one hot spot so all are located in that area.

We had these though a pest control company so I know they work well. No mice/rats means no snakes also.

One arrived with the concrete pad broken, but still 100% usable. I just used some liquid nails to make it whole again. I ordered 4 of them, received only 1 key
