  • Asked by Clinton from Joshua, Tx
    06/21/2018
    Q
I spot sprayed greenbrier with Remedy Ultra Herbicide and the oak trees in the area have leaves that are turning yellow and falling off.
Will the oak trees die? Is there a way to restore the oak trees life?
    A

Over spray, or spray drift of Remedy Ultra Herbicide can harm desired plants.  It sounds like that is the case with your oak trees.  While a light over spray won't be enough to kill a fully matured tree, it can certainly kill the leaves it has contacted.  The tree should recover in time.

  • Asked by Wb from 24970
    03/29/2020
    Q
After spraying how long before till the chemicals are neutralized.
I'm going to spray it around vegetable garden.
    A
Remedy Ultra Herbicide should not be used anywhere that crops are going to be planted or currently exist, and any treatments you do around the vegetable garden should be done well outside the dripline of the vegetables. Its important to minimize drift of this product from treatment areas over to vegetables as crop loss could occur. If Remedy Ultra were sprayed in an area you would like to plant vegetables, you would normally need to wait a year before a new crop could be safely planted in those areas.

  • Asked by David
    08/27/2017
    Q
Will Remedy Ultra kill bamboo? What is the recommended diluent and concentration for this application?
    A

Remedy Ultra Herbicide is not labeled to control bamboo, although many people will use products containing triclopyr in conjunction with bamboo labeled herbices to try and gain better control. You can use Round Up QuickPro at the highest listed usage rate to help eliminate bamboo. No matter what product you use when trying to control bamboo you need to cut the plant down level with the ground and then use the designated product at the highest rate or undiluted to paint/pour directly on the freshly cut surface. Bamboo roots run very deep so often you have to do multiple applications with a product and repeat the cutting and painting phase a few times to fully kill the plant.

    Q
Can a person mix Remedy with bar and chain oil for a chain saw to do thinning of unwanted species?
    A

Per the Remedy Ultra Herbicide product label: Prepare oil-water emulsions using diesel fuel, fuel oil, or kerosene plus an emulsifier such as Sponto 712 or Triton X-100. Use a jar test to check spray mix compatibility before preparing oil-water emulsion sprays in the mixing tank.  We would not recommend using chain oil.
