    Q
The product works well except that I have a few flies. Is there another product that works better for flies?
A couple of flies. How do I get rid of them?
    A

Riptide 5.0% will only kill insects while it is wet. This is a contact kill only product so once it is dry, there is no residual left behind. Bifen IT is a great product labeled for flies that will continue to work after it dries as it leaves behind a residual for up to 30 days outdoors and 90 days indoors. You may view the full product label here for more information and complete application instructions.

    Q
    Will it kill sand fleas?
    A

Riptide does not have a residual effect after it is dry.  This will only kill the fleas you hit directly with it.  Please take a few moments to review our treatment article on How to Get Rid of Fleas for more information on a successful flea control program.

    Q
I have a 125-gallon tank for my mosquito misting system, how much Riptide should I use?
    A

Per the Riptide 5.0% Pyrethrin ULV product label, to get the mix rate for a 125-gallon tank you should multiply the system tank size in gallons by fluid ounces of concentrate per gallon of water (1.16) and that'll give you, 145 oz of solution needed to use in a 125 gallon

    Q
How to clean dripped Riptide Pryethrin off concrete?
My spider mister nozzles clogged and dripped Pryethrin on the concrete walks, leaving stains. Any suggestions for how to clean the residue?
    A

If staining or a spill of the Riptide 5.0% Pyrethrin ULV had occurred on the concrete, we would recommend using an absorbent product such as sand, kitty litter, or similar material to soak up as much of the residue from the porous surface of the concrete as you can. If a stain remains, you may need to try a pressure washer or a concrete stain remover from a hardware store
