Product Overview

Rometsol Herbicide is a dispersible granule mixed in water and applied as a spray through aerial or ground applications. Used to effectively control unwanted woody plants and annual and perennial weeds on both public and private lands, rights-of-way, unimproved turf grass, industrial and non-crop areas, and other labeled areas for use. The degree and duration of control may depend on the weed size at application, weed spectrum and infestation intensity, environmental condition at and following treatment, and soil moisture, PH, and organic matter. Recommended to apply when weeds are young and actively growing.

    Very good control

    By Bill on 06/07/2024

I use this when I have a large outbreak of spurges and Buckhorn. I manage about 20 lawns in Florida and spotted spurge and Buckhorn are constant problems, also works really well for Florida Pusely and Lespedeza. Be careful when measuring, don't think a little more is a little better, this stuff is very powerful.

Sort Questions
Q
Will this product stop burweed from coming out in the spring. My grass is dominant right now in georgi.
A
Rometsol Herbicide is a post-emergent only, so it does not prevent burweed or any other weeds from germinating. You can use this product to treat existing bur buttercup, cocklebur, or other weeds listed on the label, but this will not control lawn burweed or sandbur.

Please let us know what kind of turfgrass you have and how large it is, and we are happy to recommend a product for your needs.

Q
Can the grasses be grazed on with no transfer in manure?
A

Per the Rometsol Herbicide label: When used as directed, there is no grazing or haying restriction for use rates of 1 2/3 ounce per acre or less. At use rates greater then 1 2/3 ounce per acre and up to 3 1/3 ounces per acre, forage grasses may be cut for hay, fodder or green forage and fed to livestock including lactating animals 3 days after treatment.
