Quali-Pro Negate 37WG, is now labeled for use on residential turf. It is uniquely formulated to provide quick and complete post-emergent control. One application administers 8 to 12 weeks of exceptionally reliable control over 35 grasses and broadleaf weeds. This formula can control even the most common stubborn weeds including but not limited to ryegrass, poa, dandelion and chickweed, leaving your turfgrass stronger and healthier. It provides ultimate control at low use rates in comparison to leading brands making it the cost effective choice.
Fill the tank one-fourth to one-third full of water.
While agitating, add the required amount of Quali-Pro NEGATE 37WG.
Continue agitation until the Quali-Pro NEGATE 37WG is fully dispersed, at least 5 minutes.
Once the Quali-Pro NEGATE 37WG is fully dispersed, maintain agitation and continue filling tank with water. Quali-Pro NEGATE 37WG should be thoroughly mixed with water before adding any other material.
As the tank is filling, add tank mix partners (if desired) then add the necessary volume of non-ionic surfactant. Always add surfactant last.
If the mixture is not continuously agitated, settling will occur. If settling occurs, thoroughly re-agitate before using.
Quali-Pro NEGATE 37WG spray preparations are stable if they are pH neutral or alkaline and stored at or below 100 Fahrenheit.
If Quali-Pro NEGATE 37WG and a tank mix partner are to be applied in multiple loads, pre-slurry the QualiPro NEGATE 37WG in clean water prior to adding to the tank. This will prevent the tank mix partner from interfering with the dissolution of the Quali-Pro NEGATE.
Use Rate of 1.5 oz. per Acre (Days Prior to Overseeding - States):
Had an excellent kill with a broadcast app for poa triv in my 1/2 acre bermuda lawn, 5-14 day kill- even with cooler temperatures. No more seed heads and thin spots when the summer heat arrives! I'll be looking to finally win the war on poa after combining this with a poa listed prem this fall and 2018.
Well worth the $$. Speak Softly and Carry a Big Stick. This herbicide continues to be the big stick on POA for my lawn in 7A zone. I've done a couple acres worth this season. Excellent vs the more $$$$ chemicals.

Can Quali-Pro Neate 37WG be used on St Augustine grass?
I spray residential and commercially. I have some commercial areas with St Augustine grass. Sod farms also grow St.Augustine.
Per the manufacturer, Quali-Pro Negate 37 WG is not for use on any type of St Augustine grass and only the listed tolerant turf species on the product label. If you would like to provide us with info on what you are treating for, we would be happy to try and find a product to meets your needs.
When is the best time to apply Negate 37WG for poa annua in my Bermudagrass?
Negate is now approved for Residential use (see below). I've got a lot of POA and other "bad growth" that is now green in my mostly dormant Bermuda (DFW market). We'll be in the 60's and dry in a few days after a lot of cold and rain. I've got a pull behind sprayer to cover my 1 acre. Is this a good time to apply Negate 37WG? What else should I know?
Yes, you can use Negate 37WG on your Bermudagrass now to control poa annua (annual bluegrass). You can apply to either dormant grass or when the grass is fully green, but you do not want to apply a post-emergent like this while the grass is in transition, such as during Spring green-up.
Per the new supplemental label, for poa annua, you would use 1.5 oz per Acre. If you are treating an area smaller than 1 Acre, then the manufacturer recommends diluting the entire 1.5 oz bottle in a gallon of water first (not in your sprayer but in a separate container) since there are different sized prills in the concentrate. You would then use 3 oz of your mixed solution in at least 1 gallon of water per 1000 square feet. The remaining initial solution can be stored for 2-4 weeks, just be sure you agitate the solution before mixing and re-applying. You can reapply on your dormant turf after 4 weeks if the target weeds are still present.
Be sure that you use a dedicated sprayer to apply this product or that you clean thoroughly the entire spray equipment before using other products in it. Please refer to the label for complete instructions.
Quali-Pro Negate 37WG is a wettable granular, so it is a solid concentrate that you dilute in water and apply as a spray. It is applied at 1.5 fl oz per acre and spray volumes of 20 to 80 gal/acre and pressures of 25 to 35 psi.
