Simazine 4L Herbicide is not labeled to be used on buffalo grass so we would not advise using it. Depending on what you are trying to prevent, you may consider using Dimension 2EW Herbicide as it is safe on Buffalo grass
Simazine 4L Herbicide only controls the target annual and perennial grasses and broadleaf weeds listed on the product label. It will not effect suckers/sprouts from roots.
Simazine 4L Herbicide can be used on warm season turfgrasses such as St. Augustine and Bermudagrass.
For bermudagrass, the product label does advise that applications of Simazine 4L Herbicide to nondormant bermudagrass, hybrid bermudagrass, and nondormant zoyziagrass can cause temporary slowing of growth and yellowing may occur following application.
