    Q
I had snake away spread around the exterior of my home. Is it normal to smell it in my house?
It was laid this morning, and I can smell it in my home now. Wondering if this is normal. If it isn't, and I need to remove it, what's the best way? Should I use a shop vac?! Help!
    A

The smell of Snake Away can be quite strong at first and is needed to do its job. The smell should start to fade after a few days outdoors. The only way to eliminate it quickly would be to physically remove the repellent.

    Q
If Snake Away is put around the outside perimeter of a house when the snake is in the basement, will the snake leave the basement?
    A

We could not guarantee that it would cause the snake to leave the basement as the Snake A Way is made to repel the snakes. If it is put around the home, the snake will want to avoid coming in contact with it, so it may try to avoid it.

You can spread the Snake A Way throughout the yard, however, your goal is to use this as a barrier. Use this product wherever snake repellency is desired.

    Q
How can I remove the odor of Snake A Way that my neighbors applied around their lawn? The smell is nauseating to me as I almost use no chemicals on my property?
    A

Snake A Way is a product specifically labeled to be used outdoors and the only way to get rid of the odor would be to physically remove it from the area where it was applied. Although the odor is strong it will dissipate over time and lose efficacy. For more information, you can contact the manufacturer, Dr. T at 229-294-9742.

    Q
Will Snake A Way bother my butterfly garden?
I have a large butterfly garden and husband how hates snakes. I'm worried about the affect on my larvae and butterflies.

Snake A Way uses a variety of natural ingredients designed to irritate the smell and taste and passages of snakes to deter only them from the area.  It would be safe to insects such as butterflies when used as directed on the product label.
