Product Overview

Southern Ag Captan Fungicide is a wettable powder in microfine texture and is dissolved in water as a foliar spray. Formulated for the control of several fungus diseases of fruit, turf, ornamental crops, and also works as a vegetable seed treatment for the control of damping-off diseases and specific seed rots. The active ingredient, Captan, is a non-systemic fungicide which means it is not consumed or absorbed by the plant. It forms a protective barrier on the exterior of the fruits and leaves which inhibit fungi from entering and infecting the plant. It obstructs the ability of the fungus to create energy which eliminates it over time. This product is non-toxic to bees and birds.
