SureGuard Herbicide is a broad spectrum pre- and post-emergent herbicide that is powerful and long-lasting. SureGuard Herbicide offers a low-use rate and the longest residual on the market. That means you use less product and SureGuard Herbicide keeps you from having to make repeat applications.
Use in the spring and fall to control common broadleaf and some grassy weeds. You can even use SureGuard Herbicide on dormant Bermudagrass for quick post-emergent control of weeds and season long pre-emergent control of Poa annua, crabgrass, goosegrass, and other summer annual weeds. Non-staining formulation.
When the tank is mixed with glyphosate it improves the knockdown you get from glyphosate, even on glyphosate resistant weeds. Note that glyphosate is a non-selective, broad spectrum herbicide that will kill virtually any plant.

Worth the $$!
By Anonymous on 06/06/2013
I debated long and hard before I popped the $$ to buy a "measly" pound of SureGuard. Now that I have used it, together with QuikPro, I can say that this is one "killer" combo. I've used it for general weeds in an overgrown gravel parking area where I don't want weeds growing back over the Summer, and I've also used to knock down a rather huge invasive wild strawberry ground cover area. Worked splendidly in both places. If you're not sure about the purchase, perhaps you can look at it this way: For the money, you get 1 Lb (=454 Grams) of active ingredient. For use, you only need 3 Grams/gallon. That works out to a whopping 150 Gallons of product for about a buck a gallon. One bottle of SureGuard in enough to use with TWO 6.8 Lb jugs of QuikPro. That's a lot of SureGuard. The folks at DoMyOwn PC are prompt, efficient and speedy, and provide status/tracking on orders. Very pleased.

Fantastic Product
By Liz on 04/13/2017
I am a commercial applicator and I couldn't do my job without SureGuard. I use it as a pre emergent plant bed application to control weeds all season long. I use it in rock beds and bark beds and it keeps weeds out for the entire season. I apply it in mid-April when there is 1/2 an inch or more of rain predicted and this product keeps weeds out until winter sets in. It saves my customers $$ because we aren't pulling weeds and it makes me look good because the beds are weed free.

I've been told to use a tablespoon per 4 gallons, but want to make sure that is going to be effective for control.
SureGuard Hebicide is applied at 3/4 tsp-1 1/4 tsp per gallon per the product label calibration chart on page 6.
