You do not need to have a pest control or applicator's license to purchase Suspend Polyzone from us (unless listed for your state on the product page) or to use this product on your own property. If you are applying products for profit, then you must be licensed in your state. Be sure you always read and follow product label directions.
Yes, Suspend Polyzone can be applied using a hand pump sprayer, backpack sprayer or hose end sprayer. The mix rate is 0.25fl oz to 1.5 fl oz per gallon of water depending on the insects you are targeting.
Please refer to Page 7 of the product label for Outdoor/Perimeter Applications for more information.
Suspend Polyzone can be used at the rate of 0.25 to 1.5 fl oz per gallon of water both indoors and outdoors for millipedes. In addition to that you can use Talstar Xtra Granules in your yard before they make it to your home.
Suspend Polyzone is not labeled to be used any type of fogging equipment. Suspend Polyzone can be applied using a handpump sprayer, backpack sprayer or mist blower.
Suspend Polyzone is considered a repellent because insects can detect it. This does not mean they are truly repelled from the area they can just choose to avoid it as they know something is there. They must contact the treated area to be effected by the product though
Suspend Polyzone can be applied with a mist blower, but not with thermal or ULV fogging devices.
There would be absolutely no reason to mix Suspend Polzyone with Onslaught Fastcap, or any other residual insecticide. Onslaught FastCap already contains an exponent and you would not need or want to add anymore to it. You are welcome to mix an IGR like NyGuard in with Onslaught or Suspend Polyzone if you feel its needed. If you are just using this for general pest control and prevention around the home and lawn, you can spray anywhere from monthly to quarterly based on your needs. Both the Onslaught and Suspend Polyzone will hold up to the outdoor elements roughly 60-90 days based on the weather and pest pressure over that time.
It would be recommended to remove birds from any treated areas during treatment and for at least a few hours after application as birds can be highly sensitive to chemicals. Suspend Polyzone is only applied along baseboards and in cracks and crevices so very limited indoor areas as directed on the product label.
Yes, Suspend Polyzone can be used to control crickets in general. Indoors, it can be sprayed on baseboards, cracks and crevices.
Suspend Polyzone does list wasps as a target pest on the product label, and can be effective at controlling wasps if applied according to the product instructions as follows:
"Residual Spray: Apply to surfaces on building exteriors, porches, patios and other structures, around door and window frames, eaves and attic vents, utility entry points, soffit areas and other exterior openings (including foundation cracks or drilled holes) where pests enter the structure or where they have been seen or found, or can find shelter."
Suspend Polyzone can be used outdoors in any temperature except for when temperatures reach freezing.
Suspend Polyzone is labeled to kill bark beetles. We also recommend Permethrin SFR 36.8% as an alternative. The mixing ratio is 1 2/3 fl. oz per gallon of water. It is recommended that you spray the bark on the tree but not to the point of runoff.
You could potentially spray Suspend Polyzone around an AC unit as long as you are not spraying directly into any vents or electrical equipment. Be sure that you have installed the unit correctly and sealed up the edge properly. It would be unlikely for roaches to enter through equipment like that if it is properly maintained and in working order.
The Suspend Polyzone MSDS label recommends the following precautions when applying:
Respiratory Protection: When respirators are required, select NIOSH approved equipment based on actual or potential airborne concentrations and in accordance with the appropriate regulatory standards and/or industry recommendations.
When treating areas directly over your head, wear eye protection (safety glasses, goggles or face shield) and dust/mist mask or respirator.
You should also use a mask in you are in an area that has poor ventilation.
Suspend Polyzone concentrate has a shelf life of 3-5 years when stored in a cool dry place. As long as the product did not get too hot you should be fine to use it. Any diluted solution should be used within about 24 hours.
There is not additive for the Suspend Polyzone to make it more effective against spiders really. You could add ExciteR with the Polyzone to give a faster knockdown during application only to all insects. Something like Onslaught Fastcap is also an option with both if you want a faster initial knockdown and a product more designed for harder to kill insects like spiders.
Fogging only kills those insect out in the open at the time you do so. You can fog and then apply a residual once the air has been well venilated.
You cannot mix Demon WP with Suspend Polyzone. Both of these products are synthetic pyrethroids, so there would be nothing to gain by mixing these products together. Making a pesticide too strong can actually backfire. Areas that are treated with this overly concentrated spray will be repellent and insects will simply avoid the treated areas prolonging the infestation.
You can treat your ornamental green wall with Suspend Polyzone to get rid of millipedes. We would recommend to spray with low pressure to avoid splashing the solution. Keep in mind that millipedes prefer wet soil, so you may need to look at how you are irrigating the plants so that you can reduce the amount of moisture in these areas and ultimately change the conditions that are favoring development for the millipedes.
Suspend Polyzone is safe when applied per label. We recommend to keep children and pets out of the treated area until dry.
