Taurus SC is not for indoor use at all unless you are treating for an active termite colony behind a wall void that you plan to drill a small hole into the wall to get to. If that is the case, you would use the same rate as you would for the trenching method outdoors which is 0.8 oz per gallon of water.
Yes, you can inject Taurus SC under the slab that is part of the house area. This would be considered part of your termite treatment since they were found active in this area. You would NOT be permitted to apply the Taurus SC to the new wood that is being installed. The best product for this application would be Boracare which is a wood preservative that can be applied to any raw wood and lasts for the life of the wood.
You would use a funnel or set your sprayer to a pin stream setting to apply ½ gallon of Taurus SC Termiticide finished solution in each drilled hole in concrete. You do not have to replace the wood unless it is extremely damaged, but you will need to also spray Taurus into the wood where the termites are actively infesting to spot treat it.
If you are using Taurus SC Termiticide for termite prevention, yes it must be applied in a trench as explained in our guide here as well as on the product label. When you have any concrete against the home (such as a patio or garage that shares walls with inside rooms) that prevents you from trenching across it, you have to drill holes every 12 inches and treat each hole with roughly 1/2 to 1 gallon of mixed solution. Each hole should be drilled with a bit that is roughly 1/2 wide and 18 inches long. Please review the Taurus SC Product Label and our article How To Do A Termite Treatment for all the proper techniques for a homeowner to treat this area.

Taurus SC Termiticide is not labeled to be applied on plants at all. It should only be applied 1 ft up and 1 ft out topically to the exterior of a structure or in trenched, rodded or drilled holes for a termite application. There is currently no known resistance issue with Taurus SC Termiticide. It is a slow kill that kills off entire colonies so there should be none left to carry on a resistance, but it can take years of exposure to the same product to develop any type. An alternative product would be Phantom which can also be used inside along baseboards and in cracks and crevices where Taurus cannot be used.

This product should not be sprayed in the same areas as Taurus SC so that they do not work against each other. The mixing ratio is 1 fl. oz. per gallon of water. When treating for springtails, it is crucial to identify and eliminate the excess moisture issue where this pest breeds in order to permantly address the infestation.
There is no need to reapply Taurus SC Termiticide if rainfall occured 14 hours after treatment. That is plenty of time for the product to become rainfast.
