Taurus SC Termiticide is not labeled to be applied on plants at all. It should only be applied 1 ft up and 1 ft out topically to the exterior of a structure or in trenched, rodded or drilled holes for a termite application. Taurus SC Termiticide is not labeled for fire ants. The application ratio for carpenter ants is 0.80 fl oz per gallon of water to make a 0.06% solution. You can use this solution twice per year.
Taurus SC Termiticide treatment can be spread across several days as long as it does not rain and the trench can be filled in prior to rain.
Taurus SC is labeled to kill millipedes, if you have already sprayed the perimeter of your home some can make it into the home but will eventually die, most insects die within 72 hours of contact with an insecticide. Millipedes do like cool, damp places to live so you can find them under stones, leaf mold, compost, grass clippings and mulch. Unfortunately, Taurus SC is only labeled to be used around the perimeter of your home and no further than 1 foot out from the foundation. If you want to treat further out than that into your yard and mulched areas, you can turn the mulch from time to time and use something like Talstar P every 30 days or Suspend Polyzone would also work and can hold up to 90 days outdoors.
Yes, you can! You do not need a license to purchase and/or use Taurus SC around your home in California. You would need a license if you are wanting to use this product around someone else's home for profit.
As long as the ground is not frozen and it is not raining, you can apply Taurus SC up against your structure for a termite barrier in the soil and drilled in holes in the concrete. They are active year round but go further into the soil when there are cooler temperatures. Taurus SC can be applied outdoors as a perimeter spray for ants or using the trenching method for subterranean termites. When applied as a perimeter spray for ant control, the prouct will last for up to 6 months. When applied using the trenching method for subterranean termites, the product will will last for up to 10 years in the soil.

Yes, Taurus SC Termiticide can be applied around the foundation of a home to control ants. You will mix 0.8 fl. oz. of Taurus SC per gallon of water and apply using a hand-pump sprayer around the outside of the home, spraying 1 foot up the side of the house and 1 foot out from the house, all the way around the home. Bifen L/P Granules can also be broadcast in your lawn to treat labeled pests.
Taurus SC and similar products do not need to be airtight once opened. We recommend that you always store insecticides in an area that is out of direct sunlight and extreme temperatures (do not allow to freeze), and you should get a shelf life of 3-5 years.
Taurus SC and Permetherin SFR cannot be mixed together.
Yes, grass can be planted in an area where Taurus SC Termiticide was applied once the product has dried.
Taurus SC Termiticide is only labeled to be used adjacent to a structure 1 to 2 feet up and out. It cannot be used in lawns nor can it be used where animals graze. Extinguish Plus Fire Ant Bait would be a good choice for you. Extinguish Plus can be used on pasture land and there are no grazing restrictions for companion animals.
Taurus SC Termiticide can only be used outside as a perimeter spray for roaches. If you already have an infestation in your home you would want to go with one of our Roach Control Kits for the quickest and best results.
