Taurus SC Termiticide is not labeled for fire ants. The application ratio for carpenter ants is 0.80 fl oz per gallon of water to make a 0.06% solution. You can use this solution twice per year.
You can spot treat using Taurus SC Termiticide where you find live termites in a crawl space. However, it is best to follow the trail(s) you see to find where the termites are coming up from the ground or from a void so that you can better eradicate the colony. We also recommend a full soil treatment for the home if one has not been done in several years and you have found live termites in your home. Both Taurus SC and Tandem Insecticide are great products and very effective. Keep in mind that Taurus is labeled for outdoor use only, whereas Tandem can be used inside and outside.
Taurus SC Termiticide treatment can be spread across several days as long as it does not rain and the trench can be filled in prior to rain.
Taurus SC Termiticide should NOT be used on pets or used to treat fleas inside or outside the home. Taurus SC Termiticide is only labeled to be used adjacent to a structure 1 to 2 feet up and out. It cannot be used in lawns nor can it be used where animals graze. Extinguish Plus Fire Ant Bait would be a good choice for you. Extinguish Plus can be used on pasture land and there are no grazing restrictions for companion animals.
Taurus SC Termiticide can only be used outside as a perimeter spray for roaches. If you already have an infestation in your home you would want to go with one of our Roach Control Kits for the quickest and best results.
Taurus SC would not be the most effective way of treating for drywood termites in an attic. You can treat the termite galleries in the wood with a product like Termidor Foam, which will leave behind a non-repellent residual that allows the termites to pick the product up on their bodies and transfer it throughout the entire colony in the wood to eradicate the entire colony. You can apply Bora Care to the raw, untreated wood in the attic a few weeks after using the Termidor Foam (you want to give the termites a chance to distribute it throughout the colony to eradicate all or most of the colony) which will protect the wood for the lifetime of it against wood boring pests like drywood and subterranean termites.
As long as the ground is not frozen and it is not raining, you can apply Taurus SC up against your structure for a termite barrier in the soil and drilled in holes in the concrete. They are active year round but go further into the soil when there are cooler temperatures. Termidor SC is not labeled for application to tree stumps. A better option would be Dominion 2L. You can drill into the stump and then inject Dominion 2L into the stump where the termites activity is using a hand pump sprayer. You can also choose to trench around the stump and apply the product to the trench. Dominion will help to eliminate the colony below ground as well as those in the stump.

Yes, Taurus SC Termiticide is labeled to control European earwigs. Please keep in mind that this product is only labeled for outdoor use around the perimeter of a structure. Talstar P would be a great choice for earwigs. You can spray both indoors and outdoors with this product. It is one of our best sellers, has a long residual, is odorless, dries clear, leaves no stains, is non-irritating to the skin, and won't break down easily with rainfall. Also, be sure to focus on mulched areas, or areas that hold moisture in the lawn.
It is best not to apply Taurus SC if it is going to rain the same day. If possible it should be applied at least 24 hours before you are expecting any rain. As long as the product is applied on a non-windy day and at least 24 hours before rain, it will not wash away.
Taurus SC is labeled to kill millipedes, if you have already sprayed the perimeter of your home some can make it into the home but will eventually die, most insects die within 72 hours of contact with an insecticide. Millipedes do like cool, damp places to live so you can find them under stones, leaf mold, compost, grass clippings and mulch. Unfortunately, Taurus SC is only labeled to be used around the perimeter of your home and no further than 1 foot out from the foundation. If you want to treat further out than that into your yard and mulched areas, you can turn the mulch from time to time and use something like Talstar P every 30 days or Suspend Polyzone would also work and can hold up to 90 days outdoors.

Yes, Taurus SC Termiticide can be applied around the foundation of a home to control ants. You will mix 0.8 fl. oz. of Taurus SC per gallon of water and apply using a hand-pump sprayer around the outside of the home, spraying 1 foot up the side of the house and 1 foot out from the house, all the way around the home. Bifen L/P Granules can also be broadcast in your lawn to treat labeled pests.
