Tebuthiuron 80 WG Herbicide is a professional-grade, water soluble granule herbicide formulated for pre-emergent and post-emergent control of woody plants, brush, and weeds in non-crop environments. The active ingredient, tebuthiuron, is absorbed through plant roots after rainfall or irrigation and disrupts photosynthesis, leading to gradual defoliation and plant death.
This herbicide provides long-lasting residual control and is designed for use in rangeland, permanent grass pastures, fencerows, wildlife habitat clearings, and other non-crop areas where long-term vegetation management is required. Tebuthiuron 80 WG is generally non-selective when applied as a broadcast treatment, controlling annual grasses, broadleaf weeds, and woody vegetation while warm-season perennial grasses may exhibit tolerance under labeled use conditions.
The water soluble granule formulation allows for flexible application methods including broadcast, banded, individual plant, and spot treatments. Tebuthiuron 80 WG is soil-activated and performance is dependent on rainfall, soil type, and target species. Due to its extended soil activity, treated areas may remain vegetation-free for extended periods when applied according to label directions.

Tebuthiuron 80 WG Herbicide is a soil-active product intended for long-term vegetation control in non-crop areas. Applications may be made as broadcast, banded, individual plant, or spot treatments using ground equipment. Helicopter application is permitted for certain rights-of-way and firebreak uses according to label directions.
The product must be moved into the soil by rainfall or irrigation to become effective. A minimum of approximately one inch of rainfall is typically required to activate the herbicide and place it into the root zone. Herbicidal activity may be delayed during dry conditions, and visible symptoms may take several months or longer to fully develop depending on soil type, rainfall, and target species.
Broadcast applications provide non-selective vegetation control and may affect grasses, broadleaf weeds, and woody plants. Banded applications concentrate the herbicide into narrow treated zones to control woody plants while reducing injury to desirable grasses between bands. Individual plant and spot treatments allow selective control of specific woody plants by applying the herbicide solution to the soil at the base of target plants.
Do not apply to residential lawns, landscaped areas, cropland, or areas where roots of desirable plants may extend into treated soil. Avoid applications to areas with shallow groundwater, sandy soils with rapid permeability, or locations adjacent to water bodies unless allowed by a state-approved management program. Always follow all label restrictions regarding maximum application rates, grazing and haying intervals, and environmental precautions.
