Tempo SC Ultra cannot be used without water; it is a liquid concentrate. Tempo Ultra WP is a wettable powder but also needs to be diluted in water. If you need a powder/dust insecticide you can apply without diluting, you can use something like Tempo 1% inside wall voids. Once you're finished applying it inside wall voids or as instructed on the label and the area is cleaned up from any residue, you and your kids can be back into the area.
Tempo SC Ultra should not be applied to these items and the residual left behind would not be picked up by items that contact a treated area. Contaminated items or surfaces should be washed thoroughly using an appropriate cleaner for those items.
Yes, Tempo SC Ultra is labeled for bedbugs. You will use 16 mL per gallon of water. You will spray this around the baseboards and cracks and crevices in the rooms with bedbug activity every two weeks.
We would also recommend using Bedlam on the actual mattress and box spring. You will spray the seams and tufts where the bedbugs reside. You can also spray this on your headboard and bed frame. Bedlam can be used inside drawers, on the carpet, etc. You will do this every two weeks until you do not see activity for 30 days.
As a preventative, Cimexa Dust is very good to use inside the wall voids. You will do a few puffs behind each outlet and/or light plate with a hand duster. This dries the bedbugs out when they walk across it. Only do 1-2 puffs. This is enough dust to settle on the floor. You want them to walk across it.
