Tempo SC Ultra contains a pyrethroid called beta-cyfluthrin, which behaves similarly to natural pyrethrum, except with much longer residual activity. While the product label does not specifically list kissing bugs, this is a non-selective insecticide and would likely affect any insect that would contact it. Tempo SC Ultra cannot be used without water; it is a liquid concentrate. Tempo Ultra WP is a wettable powder but also needs to be diluted in water. If you need a powder/dust insecticide you can apply without diluting, you can use something like Tempo 1% inside wall voids. Once you're finished applying it inside wall voids or as instructed on the label and the area is cleaned up from any residue, you and your kids can be back into the area.
Yes, Martins IGR can be mixed with Tempo SC Ultra for fleas outdoors. It is recommended that you do treatments every 14 days.

Yes, you could use Tempo SC Ultra to treat caterpillars on mountain laurels, just be sure to get thorough coverage of all sides of the leaves. Control will be most successful when larvae are young. Unfortunately, Tempo SC Ultra is not labeled to treat for grain beetles. We would recommend a product like Onslaught Insecticide. Onslaught produces no odor, is easy to use, and can be used both indoors and outdoors, including food handling areas (please read directions carefully when using in sensitive environments). It is micro-encapsulated, meaning that after the product is sprayed, the active ingredient is released slowly over time, producing long-lasting residual control of insect pests.
