When mixing Tempo SC Ultra you may use anywhere from 8-16 milliliters per gallon of water and when mixing Nyguard IGR you use 3 to 8 milliliters per gallon of water to treat 1000 square feet. Yes, these two products can be mixed together and applied at the same time.
Unfortunately, Tempo SC Ultra is not labeled to treat for leafminers or citrus trees.
We would recommend using Temprid FX. It has two active ingredients in that work together to combat bed bugs and various other pests. Tempo SC Ultra is not labeled to kill bed bugs. Our bedbug kits come with all top of the line products that are available on the market today, along with instructions to follow. When applied properly, our kits have a very high success rate. We recommend reading our article on How to Get Rid of Bed Bugs for more information on a treatment program using the products and non-chemical efforts.

Yes, Tempo SC Ultra can be used safely on and around bushes.
Unfortunately, Tempo SC Ultra is not labeled to treat for grain beetles. We would recommend a product like Onslaught Insecticide. Onslaught produces no odor, is easy to use, and can be used both indoors and outdoors, including food handling areas (please read directions carefully when using in sensitive environments). It is micro-encapsulated, meaning that after the product is sprayed, the active ingredient is released slowly over time, producing long-lasting residual control of insect pests.
Tempo SC Ultra cannot be used in a fogger.. We do carry products that can be used in a fogger on our Fogging Solutions Page.
We recommend that you continue to check any items brought into the home. Anything that has been opened should be inspected and sealed in airtight containers during the treatment process. Wipe down shelving, etc. with hot, soapy water to remove any potential larvae. Tempo SC Ultra will only leave a residual to eradicate adult pantry pests that come into the treated surfaces. It will not take care of unhatched eggs. We suggest that you apply the products in our Pantry Pest Kit including the pantry traps (included in the Panty Kit) to disrupt the breeding cycle.
Termites are not a surface dwelling insect, so applying insecticide sprays, such as Tempo SC Ultra to the foundation will not be a work. We have a step by step guide that will walk you through how to do your own termite trenching treatment. You can see the guide by clicking on the link here. Termidor SC would be the top product to use for the trench.
Tempo SC Ultra is not labeled to be used as a broadcast on indoor carpet or any other flooring. It is labeled for crack and crevice use only. If the product has been used in a non-labeled area such as carpet, we would recommend that you clean the carpeted area with a carpet cleaner to get the product completely out of the fibers.
Yes, you can remove Tempo SC Ultra from kitchen counter tops if necessary by washing them with a warm soapy water solution.
Per the product label, Tempo SC Ultra must be mixed at the rate of 8-16 mL per gallon of water. It is not really designed to be diluted into a smaller amount than that.
If there are birds in the area that you will be treating, we recommend that you consult a vet before applying any products, as birds can be sensitive to many pesticides.
Tempo SC Ultra will not harm your tree or the bees if it was sprayed when they were not active. Once a product has dried, it is rainfast and water will not wash it off immediately. Since this was done outdoors, the product will break down within 30 days of application.
Tempo SC Ultra is labeled for killing fleas outdoors. For more information on a successful eradication program, please take a few moments to review our article on How to Get Rid of Fleas.
Either Tempo SC Ultra and Cy Kick CS would work great for scorpions. One is not considered "stronger" than the other.
We recommend rotating Tempo SC Ultra between insecticides at least once a year to prevent resistance issues. There is a variety of products you can rotate to, Temprid SC, Suspend Polyzone, Talstar P, and Phantom Termiticide/Insecticide, just to name a few.
Tempo SC can be mixed with an IGR or Exciter but not with another insecticide concentrate such as Talstar. We recommend spraying crevices and dusting voids after areas sprayed nearby are completely dry.
Tempo SC Ultra should not be applied to edible vegetation. Please provide the targeted pest for a recommendation that will fit your needs.
The products should not be mixed together as you will not gain any benefits by doing so. In fact, using too much could cause resistance as they are both synthetic pyrethriods.
Tempo SC Ultra can not be sprayed as a broadcast over carpet, rugs or upholstered items and is not labeled for rat mites.
The first step in treating for Rodent Mites is to remove the host animal, then cleaning and sanitizing the area. Be sure to wear gloves and protective clothing. Without removing the host, you will not be able to fully eradicate the infestation. If you are not able to locate the host, we recommend contacting a professional to inspect and remove it.
Vacuuming visible mites or wiping them up with a damp cloth can remove existing mites, but freeze vacuum bags to ensure the mites are dead. Controlling rodent populations in your home by using traps and sealing your home can ensure that these mites do not enter your home.
Onslaught Insecticide and Steri-fab are two products to treat for rodent mites. Steri-Fab is a contact kill that can be used on upholstered furniture, mattresses, pillows, blankets, etc. It only kills while it is wet and will not leave any residual behind. Onslaught is a microencapsulated insecticide that can be broadcasted over carpeted areas and rugs (not furniture or mattresses) to treat for fleas, ticks, mites, etc. Vaccuming before application is crucial and to continue to vacuum every other day, if not every day. This is extremely helpful in the success of your treatment.
