Per the product label, Tempo SC Ultra must be mixed at the rate of 8-16 mL per gallon of water. It is not really designed to be diluted into a smaller amount than that.

Onslaught Insecticide and Steri-fab are two products to treat for rodent mites. Steri-Fab is a contact kill that can be used on upholstered furniture, mattresses, pillows, blankets, etc. It only kills while it is wet and will not leave any residual behind. Onslaught is a microencapsulated insecticide that can be broadcasted over carpeted areas and rugs (not furniture or mattresses) to treat for fleas, ticks, mites, etc. Vaccuming before application is crucial and to continue to vacuum every other day, if not every day. This is extremely helpful in the success of your treatment.

Tempo SC Ultra will kill ants that have come into contact with the areas treated with the product but it will not reach the nesting locations. Harvester ants should be left alone if they are not a direct threat or nuisance. They provide food for many animals, and also help distribute grass seed, and are overall beneficial. However, if control becomes necessary, you can easily get rid of harvester ants using the right professional products.Granular ant baits are the best choice to control harvester ants. Nearly any granular ant bait will work, but look for those labeled for use on harvester ants.Products with abamectin, like Advance 375A Select Granular Ant Bait, bifenthrin, like Talstar PL Granules and hydramethylnon, like Maxforce Complete Granular Bait, among many others, will all be effective against harvester ants. Always follow the label instructions carefully, but 2-5 tablespoons of granular bait scattered over the colony’s central opening should be sufficient to control the colony. For non-chemical control, destroy nests and habitat with regular mowing and other lawn maintenance.
