Per the product label, Tempo SC Ultra must be mixed at the rate of 8-16 mL per gallon of water. It is not really designed to be diluted into a smaller amount than that.

Tempo SC Ultra will not harm your tree or the bees if it was sprayed when they were not active. Once a product has dried, it is rainfast and water will not wash it off immediately. Since this was done outdoors, the product will break down within 30 days of application.

The first step in treating for Rodent Mites is to remove the host animal, then cleaning and sanitizing the area. Be sure to wear gloves and protective clothing. Without removing the host, you will not be able to fully eradicate the infestation. If you are not able to locate the host, we recommend contacting a professional to inspect and remove it.
Vacuuming visible mites or wiping them up with a damp cloth can remove existing mites, but freeze vacuum bags to ensure the mites are dead. Controlling rodent populations in your home by using traps and sealing your home can ensure that these mites do not enter your home.
Onslaught Insecticide and Steri-fab are two products to treat for rodent mites. Steri-Fab is a contact kill that can be used on upholstered furniture, mattresses, pillows, blankets, etc. It only kills while it is wet and will not leave any residual behind. Onslaught is a microencapsulated insecticide that can be broadcasted over carpeted areas and rugs (not furniture or mattresses) to treat for fleas, ticks, mites, etc. Vaccuming before application is crucial and to continue to vacuum every other day, if not every day. This is extremely helpful in the success of your treatment.

Tempo SC Ultra is not a true "repellent," so it will not keep insects such as ticks away. The only way to do this would be to seal up all cracks and crevices that allow them access inside. Tempo can be used as a barrier spray to help kill ticks that come into contact with treated surfaces. Tempo SC is safe to use indoors when applied as a crack and crevice treatment according to the instructions on the product label. This is a residual insecticide that should not be applied to personal items like bedding or resting areas of furniture. If you think clothing or bedding may be contaminated, then you would want to wash these items before use. It is fine for people and pets to re-enter the treatment area after the application is dry.
An indoor application of Tempo SC Ultra is completely safe to the touch and any other aspect once dry. The residual time indoors is typically 3-6 months on any surface its applied to and can be removed by either shampooing carpet if need be or washing down with a scrubber and water and soap.
