If you have a severe infestation of fire ants, however, we suggest that you use a product that targets this pest more specifically, such as Extinguish Plus Fire Ant Bait. Yes Tempo SC Ultra? will work for stinkbugs. Stinkbugs are not listed on the label of most insecticides yet because they have only started becoming a problem for homeowners and property owners in recent years. Be sure to spray eaves, soffits, window frames, door frames, areas where cables, pipes or wires enter into the structure and any other crack, crevice or gap where insects can harbor. We also recommend starting applications in early August to prevent having the stink bugs move in with you and sealing up as many cracks, crevces and gaps as possible. Tempo SC Ultra is labeled for Japanese Beetles.
While Tempo SC Ultra will control aphids, it is not labeled to be used as a drench. A great product to use as a drench for aphids would be Dominion 2L Termiticide Concentrate. When using Dominion 2L to treat for aphids you would mix 0.1 - 0.4 fl oz per inch of the trunk diameter in no less than 10 gallons per 100 sq ft of treatment area. You typically want to start about 12 inches from the base of the tree and out to the drip line.
Yes, Tempo SC Ultra can safely be broadcast in your lawn. It is not labeled to treat grubs. Please check out our grub control page. You want to use something like Milky Spore that will be worked in past the thatch layer to treat grubs.

Tempo SC Ultra has no odor and leaves less residue, meaning it is not necessary to wipe away Tempo after it has dried. In the event that Tempo is over sprayed or sprayed in an undesirable area, it can be cleaned with warm soap and water.

Tempo SC Ultra is really selective, so if a dragonfly were to land on a treated surface, it could be killed.
Tempo SC Ultra would be a great choice to apply as a foliar spray for wasps, flies, hornets, etc for a quick knockdown. We would also suggest using Wasp X Wasp and Hornet Spray for a contact kill and foaming residual.
Tempo SC Ultra contains a pyrethroid called beta-cyfluthrin, which behaves similarly to natural pyrethrum, except with much longer residual activity. While the product label does not specifically list kissing bugs, this is a non-selective insecticide and would likely affect any insect that would contact it.
