    Q
Can Cy-Kick, Demand and Tempo be mixed together?
We have issues with scorpions, black widows (and other spiders), mosquitoes and roaches. Can two or all three of these products be mixed in the same sprayer for quicker application?
    A

There is no valid reason to mix Cy Kick CSDemand CS and Tempo SC Ultra together, it would not make any product work better or produce better results, though it could make treated areas repellent to insects,  lessening the effectiveness of the treatment.  Cy-Kick or Demand alone would be great options for the listed insects.  If you want a faster initial knockdown during application you can add ExciteR.  If doing so, be sure to make as much direct contact with insects during application.

    Q
Will Tempo SC Ultra kill no-see-um eggs in the grass?
Our yard is infested with no-see-ums.
    A

Tempo SC Ultra can be used on turf and ornamental plants for noseeums and other common flying insects. We cannot guarantee it would kill eggs or other immature species of these insects. We would recommend you to keep grass mowed and ornamental plants kept clean to reduce yard waste and allow sunlight to reach the soil. Any other sanitation measures to keep the ground from being too wet will also help reduce these insect populations.

    Q
Can Tempo SC Ultra be mixed safely with alcohol to kill bed bug eggs?
    A

Our bedbug kits come with all top of the line products that are available on the market today, along with instructions to follow. When applied properly, our kits have a very high success rate. We recommend reading our article on How to Get Rid of Bed Bugs for more information on a treatment program using the products and non-chemical efforts.

Will Tempo SC Ultra kill mold mites?
We are removing the moisture problem. And are trying to kill them at tg e same time. And nothing is killing them.
    A

If you are asking if Tempo SC Ultra controls mold, then the answer is no. Tempo is just an insecticide. The only product we sell to kill mold spores is Boracare with Mold-Care, which can be applied to raw wood and lasts the life of the wood.

    Q
Is Tempo SC an insect growth inhibitor?
    A

Tempo SC is not an insect growth regulator, it is an insecticide with a residual of up to 90 days. We do recommend that you mix in an IGR like Nyguard IGR, with the Tempo SC, to help break down the reproduction cycle of insects.

    Q
Can I use Tempo SC Ultra to treat spiders in my hay barn?
I have all manor of spiders in my hay shed, including black widows. Would this be safe to use in there? I have anxiety attacks just thinking about having to go in there.
    A

Tempo SC Ultra could be used in areas like barns as long as it does not contaminate the hay or other food or animal feed and the hay does not contact the areas treated with Tempo. You could use Evergreen Insecticide to treat an area before hay is stored there. Please see our Spider Treatment Guide for additional tips.

    Q
Can Tempo SC Ultra be used as flea dip for dogs?
    A

Unfortuneatly, Tempo SC Ultra can not be used on dogs or any animals at all.  The product is not labeled for that type of use/application.  If you want something that you can apply directly to your pet we would suggest using something like Martins Permethrin 10% or Petcor Flea Spray

    Q
Will Tempo SC Ultra kill Japanese beetles and stink bugs?
    A

Yes  Tempo SC Ultra? will work for stinkbugs.  Stinkbugs are not listed on the label of most insecticides yet because they have only started becoming a problem for homeowners and property owners in recent years. Be sure to spray eaves, soffits, window frames, door frames, areas where cables, pipes or wires enter into the structure and any other crack, crevice or gap where insects can harbor. We also recommend starting applications in early August to prevent having the stink bugs move in with you and sealing up as many cracks, crevces and gaps as possible. Tempo SC Ultra is labeled for Japanese Beetles.

    Q
Can I use Tempo SC Ultra as a drench to control aphids?
    A

While Tempo SC Ultra will control aphids, it is not labeled to be used as a drench.  A great product to use as a drench for aphids would be Dominion 2L Termiticide Concentrate. When using Dominion 2L to treat for aphids you would mix 0.1 - 0.4 fl oz per inch of the trunk diameter in no less than 10 gallons per 100 sq ft of treatment area. You typically want to start about 12 inches from the base of the tree and out to the drip line.
