    If I spray my lawn with Tempo SC Ultra for mosquitoes, how long do I have to wait before I water the yard?

    We would recommend waiting until Tempo SC Ultra has dried completely before watering your lawn after an application.

    I sprayed Tempo SC Ultra 5 hours ago and I still have fleas in my house wood floor and concrete. Should I spray again?
    A

    Please keep in mind it does take time to eradicate Fleas. While Tempo SC Ultra will kill fleas that contact it, we also recommend to add in an IGR like Nyguard IGR to break down the reproductive cycle.Tempo is not an immediate kill, but can take several minutes to kill. Also, it is not labeled to be broadcast. If you need to broadcast over the floors indoors, we recommend something like the Indoor Flea kit found on our Flea Guide.

    I have heard of neighbors using Tempo SC Ultra on their cattle to control flies. Will this hurt the cattle?
    A

    Tempo SC Ultra is not labeled for use on cattle so could harm them if used off label, it is only used in and around animal housing. Animals other than cattle or horses need to be out of the area during treatment until dry.  For fly control on cattle themselves we have many other options here.  Permethrin based products being the most popular.

    Does Tempo SC Ultra have a fast knock down time for hornets?
    A

    Tempo SC Ultra will kill hornets that come into contact with a treated surface, but it will not provide an immediate knockdown.  Wasp Freeze can be used if a fast  knockdown is necessary.

    Does Tempo SC Ultra kill house flies?
    A

    Yes, Tempo SC Ultra will kill flies. Please make sure to pay close attention to entry points and areas that contain moisture (undersides of leaves, bathroom, laundry room). Also, spray outdoors around the perimeter of your home 2-3 feet up and out.  It is a residual product that can take a few day to start killing insects.  If the infestation of flies is extensive then you may treat again after 7-14 days.  For more information on fly control, please read our article on How to Get Rid of Flies

    Is Tempo SC a contact kill for bed bugs or is there residual that will continue protection?

    Tempo SC Ultra is not a contact kill insecticide.  It is a residual product that will continue to remain on the surfaces its been applied to for 2-3 months.  If you are looking for a contact kill insecticde for bed bugs, you can use Sterifab. Tempo SC Ultra is not labeled to kill bed bugs. Our bedbug kits come with all top of the line products that are available on the market today, along with instructions to follow.     Can Tempo SC Ultra be used in a container connected to a water hose? If so, what ratio to mix?

    Yes, you can apply in a hose end applicator. Tempo SC Ultra is mixed at the rate of 0.27 to 0.54 oz. per gallon of water, depending on your target pest.  Please refer to the product label for complete application instructions.

    How oftern should I treat for bed bugs? I am using Tempo SC Ultra and Cimexa dust.
    Should I spray monthly? Should I was the floors in between applications?

    Will Tempo SC Ultra kill yellow jackets around my barn?
    A

    Tempo SC Ultra could be used in areas like barns as long as it does not contaminate the hay or other food or animal feed and the hay does not contact the areas treated with Tempo (has a residual for 30 days outdoors).

    Can Tempo SC Ultra be used in a thermal fogger?

    Tempo SC Ultra should only be applied using a hand pump sprayer, backpack sprayer or hose end applicator. We do carry fogging solutions that can be dispersed using that type of fogger here:  Thermal Fogging Solutions.

    Can Tempo SC Ultra be mixed into a stain and applied to a log home?

    No, Tempo SC Ultra can be mixed with water only.  Tempo SC Ultra, like most synthetic pyrethroids will last for about 4-6 weeks when used outdoors.

    Does Tempo SC Ultra kill mosquitoes?
    Can I use it in a lawn sprayer?

    Yes, Tempo SC Ultra can be used for mosquitoes.  Keep in mind that the key is to apply to the underside of leaves on trees and bushes where the adults lay during the day.  You can use any hand-pump or backpack sprayer to apply.

    Can Tempo SC Ultra be used for spraying grain bins?
    A

    Tempo SC Ultra cannot be used to treat anything that would hold edibles.  Evergreen Pyrethrum Concentrate is a broad spectrum insecticide that is OMRI listed for use in certified organic production and would be a better option for contact killing.

    If Tempo SC Ultra is sprayed in a grain bin how long before it would be safe for animal consumption?

    Tempo SC Ultra should not be applied to anything that animals would consume. Anything edible that was treated or sprayed with Tempo SC should not be consumed and should be discarded.
