    Tempo SC Ultra is labeled to control aphids. It is also labeled to control scale insects (crawler stages). Please be sure to review the product label for more information and complete application instructions.

    Can you spray on wet yard?
    A

    You can apply Tempo SC Ultra to a lawn that has dew from the morning.  It should not be applied to an oversaturated area or when rainfall or other irrigation is expected within 24 hours of application drying time.

    If I accidentally sprayed my vegetables and herbs with Tempo, are they safe to eat if washed?

    Tempo SC Ultra is not labeled to be used on edible vegetation. If this product has been sprayed on edible vegetation, you will want to discard the items and not consume for the growing season. We do carry products that can be applied to edibles.

    Can Temop be sprayed on gardens, flowers & shrubs, and trees?
    A

    Tempo SC Ultra can be sprayed on ornamental plants and trees but not anything edible.  We recommend avoiding spraying any blooms/flowers to limit contact with pollinators.

    Will it hurt if I sprayed my sweet corn accidentally with this product?

    Tempo SC Ultra is not labeled to be used on any fruits or vegetables at all no matter the timing. Any vegetables, fruit, herbs/spices treated with Tempo SC Ultra should be discarded and nothing eaten from the plants for at least a growing season.
     
    We do carry another product called Bayer Advanced Vegetable and fruit spray which contains the same active ingredient Cyfluthrin but in a different formulation which allows it to be used on edible vegetation.

    Will this kill anobiid powder post beetles?
    I have a log house built in 1874 and am currently infested with anobiid powder post beetles. The Timbers are 8 inches thick. Will this penetrate and kill them?
    A

    No, Tempo SC Ultra would not be appropriate for treating wood/logs or for powder post-beetle treatments. If the timber you need to treat has any sort of stain, finish, or paint on the surface you will need to strip or sand it off until you have raw wood exposed and treat it with a product like Boracare. Boracare is the best option for powder post beetles and will absorb into the wood to kill any new beetles that may progress in their life cycle within the wood and try to emerge. Boracare will not penetrate through sealed/wood and must be applied with a sprayer or paint brush/roller to the raw wood surface. Timbers 8 inches thick will require 2 coats to be able to penetrate to the center.

    Tempo SC Ultra should only be applied using a hand pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or hose end applicator and can be applied to turf-grass, recreational areas, landscaping ornamental plants, interior plantscapes, and others.

    Tempo SC Ultra states that if you get the product on your skin to take off any clothes that you got the product on off immediately, wash for 15 minutes, and contact poison control or a physician. The number for poison control is 1-800-334-7577

    Tempo SC Ultra has a residual of 30 days outdoors. You can reapply after that amount of time has passed.

    Tempo SC Ultra esta etiquetado para el control de garrapatas pero no para el control de pulgas. Puede usar Suspend SC para el control de ambos y tambien recomendamos usar un regulador de crecimiento como Archer IGR para ayudar interrumpir el ciclo de vida. Si necesita hacer un tratamiento por dentro de su casa, recomendamos usar el Indoor Flea and Tick Kit. 

    Tempo SC Ultra is labeled for tick control but not flea control. You can use Suspend SC to control both and we also recommend using a growth regulator like Archer IGR to help interrupt the life cycle. If you need to do a treatment inside your home, we recommend using the Indoor Flea and Tick Kit.

    Does Tempo SC residual kill scorpions? Or do scorpions require a direct spray?

    Tempo SC Ultra Insecticide is labeled for spiders in general and does not require a direct spray on the pest as the residual left behind will affect the pests that come into contact with it. Be sure to spray all of the areas where scorpions can harbor outdoors such as rock beds, landscaping timbers, rock walls around the bottom of the foundation, window frames, door frames, and places where other insects (the scorpion's food source) harbor.

    Is this safe to use in carpet and laminate hardwood floors without staining?

    Tempo SC Ultra is only intended to be used around the perimeter of the room not be broadcasted in large areas. Since the solution is water-based, it should not stain anything water would. However, we would still advise doing a small test prior to applying it to a large area to ensure it does not stain.

    Is it safe to use a KN95 Mask When Spraying for Roaches?

    A mask is not required when applying Tempo SC Ultra Insecticide. However, if you would like, you could use a KN95 mask in addition to the PPE that is recommended (long sleeves, long pants, closed-toed shoes, and gloves).
