  • Asked by Th from New Jersey

    Q
What are the effects if some Temprid FX stays on the skin and if it's inhaled for awhile?
I used a very flimsy mask while applying the spray, and after some time, it made me very lightheaded. Also, some spray got on my forehead. I wiped it off with a wet towel but didn't really rinse. I probably got some on my wrist as it dripped from my glove. This happened several hours ago, so I'm asking about its effects on people, not about the immediate action to take because it's too late.
    A

If you have gotten Temprid FX Insecticide or any insecticide on your skin, the proper steps are to immediately take off contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash off immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. The product label advises that to contact a physician or poison control center immediately and be sure to let them know you also inhaled the product for assistance.

Please have the product label and SDS Sheet available for additional safety information on the product.

  • Asked by Uba from Brooklyn, Ny
    12/20/2021
    Q
Can I apply Temprid FX on top of areas where I've applied Diatomaceous Earth?
    A

No, it is recommended to apply Temprid FX or any liquid insecticide prior to applying any type of insecticide dust. Once the liquid spray application has dried, you can follow behind and apply the insecticide dust or DE.

Dust applicaitons are best applied using a Hand Duster to reach deep into cracks and crevices along baseboards, under cabients, behind outlets, around plumbing and other inaccessible areas.

View our How to Apply Dust Video for more information.

  • Asked by Ed from Eht, Nj
    01/09/2022
    Q
Can Temprid FX be applied a few days later after applying Raid for bedbugs?
Raid Active Ingredients: Chlothianidin .40%, Methofluthrin .01% and Piperonyl Butoxide Ether and Related Compounds 1% Raid was bought on Amazon for DIY's.
    A

Typically you would not apply another insecticide such as Temprid FX Insecticide over an area already treated with another insecticide for at least 30 days.

We would recommend waiting 30 days to treat with Temprid FX in the same areas where the other product was applied.

For more information, please view our Bed Bug Treatment Guide and Bed Bugs Kits for a complete treatment program.

    Q
How effective is Temprid FX Insecticide for bed bugs?
I have order some eco raider from Amazon and it work for a little while.I don't have money to keep wasting on stuff that don't work I have already spent to much money
    A

Bed bugs require a combination of products and dilegent repeat treatments every 7 days until you can go 30 days without seeing any signs of bed bugs. Using a spray alone is not going to eliminate them as you are not able to treat the tiny cracks and crevices bed bugs hide.

The best treatment for Bed Bugs would be with one of our Bed Bug Kits that contain the top professional grade products to fully treat your home. These professional grade products have all undergone testing to ensure that they are effective when used as directed and for the required time it takes to eliminate the pest.

  • Asked by Jon from Oc, Ca
    06/30/2022
    Q
Do roaches and bedbugs get immune to this? A bottle will last me 2-3 years.
If so, how often do I need to rotate sprays and which should I rotate with?
    A
Since Temprid FX Insecticide is a dual mode of action insecticide, it is less likely to develop a resistance than other insecticides. We would suggest rotating at least every 12 months or when a decrease in effectiveness occurs.

    Q
    Will this kill springtails?
I've never had springtails in my home. I use Bifen I/T. I love Bifen I/T, it kills everything but it will not kill the springtails in my home. What do you recommend for springtails?
    A
Temprid FX Insecticide is labeled for springtails, we recommend following our guide on how to control springtails. Keep in mind that springtails are a sign of moisture, so they will not be eradicated until the moisture is taken care of.

  • Asked by Ester from Eastvale, Ca

    Q
Does Temprid FX Insecticide work on water bugs? The ones that look like giant cockroaches? Does it work for the flying roaches?
Does this work on flying cockroaches? And does it work for the black roaches, the ones they call water bugs?
    A

Temprid FX Insecticide is a great product for all roaches including the American Roach (water bugs) and should do a good job towards helping you eliminate the infestation.  However, if the infestation is severe, it should not be the sole product used.  We would recommend using one of our Roach Control Kits for best results.   You may want to look over our Roach Treatment Guide for more information.

    Q
Which product is best to kill Zika mosquitoes?
    A

Temprid FX Insecticide would be a great product to use to treat for mosquitoes that may carry the Zika virus.  The key is to apply to the underside of the leaves on trees/bushes where the adults lay during the day.  You can also find our Mosquito Control Guide here.

Please keep in mind that insecticides are not a substitute for personal protection, and that we cannot provide medical treatment advice.

    Q
What do I use to clean residual of Temprid FX from my furniture?
    A

The most effective way to remove the residual of Temprid FX Insecticide that has been applied to furniture on surfaces that will have skin contact is to steam clean the surface area. Per the product label, Temprid FX should be applied to only to the infested tufts, seams, folds, and edges, but do not apply to flat surfaces where prolonged human contact will occur.
