Do My own pest control
By Bob on 03/03/2013
To be honest I think we got rid of the buggers b-4 buying this, used it 3 times in 3 wks to be sure but had not seen any bugs for over 2 wks b-4 using. Told the lady had not seen any and wnt'd something that would kill eggs in case any remained, got sold this as the ultimate solution w/o realizing it is a contact only product. Do your own research and don't let them upsell you!
Expert response:
Temprid is definitely not a contact kill product. It is considered to be one of the best insecticides on the market for bed bugs and their eggs.

Does not kill bedbugs
By Saulo on 10/16/2014
I`ve used a very strong solution and after a week they're still there.
Expert response:
For bed bugs, Temprid SC should be used at the rate of 8-16mL and then reapplied at 7-10 day intervals as long as activity continues. In general, we recommend retreating for bed bugs at 10-14 day intervals since that is how long it takes for new eggs to hatch. Please see our article and videos, How To Get Rid of Bed Bugs, for more tips: http://www.domyownpestcontrol.com/how-to-get-rid-of-bed-bugs-a-109.html

Worked great for our Bed Bug Situation
By Nick on 02/12/2014
We returned from a rental cabin and found that they had bed bugs since we brought some home with us in our clothes and backpacks! Terrible situation.... Nonetheless, we ordered this after seeing great reviews, sprayed twice (7 days apart) and we are not getting any more bites! So far it's been great (it's been 1 month since we purchased the spray).

Temprid SC Insecticide
By Shannon on 04/29/2012
No effect
By Jeffrey on 11/21/2014
I think the Florida Cockroaches are immune to this stuff. Sprayed as directed and noticed no change whatsoever.
Expert response:
We recommend using a residual product such as Temprid SC in conjunction with a roach bait and an Insect Growth Regulator to treat for roach infestations. You will also need good sanitation practices to ensure that the bait is accepted well and that you are reducing food, water, and harborage sites for the roaches. If you have an established roach population, then you will likely need follow-up treatments to fully eradicate the infestation. Please see our article How to Get Rid of Roaches for more information: http://www.domyownpestcontrol.com/how-to-get-rid-of-german-roaches-a-245.html

DON'T DOUBT THIS PRODUCT
By Neno on 05/11/2014
Spent $1,000 to professionally kill this persistent pest a year ago. It worked, but ouch! But not wanting to EVER absorb a cost like that again for 3 treatments. I found out what product they were using. Temprid SC! Found it on this sight and purchased immediately. Just in case. It was good thinking. Guess who decided to visit AGAIN! After 2 treatments "on my own" I've saved hundreds. And I'm ready for future, "just in case" scenarios.

Did not work -- stay away
By James on 10/07/2015
This product was advertised as being effective against bedbugs. After repeated applications, following all directions, bedbug infestation was worse than ever in a small, vacant rental home.
Expert response:
Dear James,
We can understand your frustration here. The problem is that the home is vacant. Since the bedbugs will not expend energy and crawl around when there is no food source present, you likely see them get active upon re-entry. Since they don't start moving until a warm blooded mammal is present, they do not come into contact with those treated areas for a long time. It also looks like you have only been treating for a couple of weeks. Bedbug infestations typically take several weeks to several months to eliminate. Please take the time to read the How to Treat for Bedbugs to learn how to implement a successful bedbug control program. Temprid is indeed one of the top products on the market but there are several steps to bedbug control. Insecticides are only one step. Bed Bugsw
By Richard on 11/13/2012
I needed a product that professionals use because I work in an environment with bed bug issues and I take brought the bugs home with me. I work in a homeless shelter and we have bed bug issues. I use this product at home to protect my personal life without having to spend the money exterminators charge for treatment. So far the product has been working

My new favorite product.
By Christopher on 07/16/2013
I own a pest control company and have used nearly every product on this site. Temprid is probably one of the best you can buy. I had yellowjackets going through a crack in my roofline in large numbers I sprayed the crack with Temprid at 8:00 am and by the time I got home at 4:30 There were zero yellowjackets. it's been 5 days now and there are still no yellowjackets. I have never had a product work this well. Most of the yellowjackets in my area are resistant to many other products including Demand cs which makes the results even more impressive. I would highly recommend this product.

Temprid SC
By Stacy on 01/01/2014
Temprid SC Works!
By Salvation on 09/14/2015
No, it won't take just one application. You'll need to do several, spaced a week to 10 days apart, to ensure you're getting the little buggers that are hatching. But I can tell you this: After using God-knows how many other pesticides with little success, Temprid SC delivered the ultimate success! Home Depot and Lowes don't sell it; they sell the crap like Hot Shot bed bug killer, that you may as well flush your money down the toilet. Many online sites sell Temprid SC. And these folks gladly give you all the advice and support you'll need. Temprid acts on these and other bugs' nervous systems. While you need to handle this pesticide with care, like any, once it dries, it's totally safe for pets and children.

I hate Stinkbugs
By Jed on 10/12/2014
Never saw anything that worked on Stinkbugs. They are so disgusting. Did son's house also and both of us noticed dramatic reduction now that the weather is getting cooler and Stinkbugs are looking for a winter retreat. Never want to be without this.

Worthless!
By Dan on 03/20/2016
I bought the 3 pack for $18. Thank God I didn't spend $75 on the bottle. Useless for cockroaches. I also wasted a good bottle of Gentrol IGR by mixing it with this stuff. Maybe it works for bedbugs but it's useless for roaches. Try Permethrin.
Expert response:
While Temprid is an excellent product and does work for roaches, roaches definitely take more than one product to gain control. Please take a few moments to read our roach control guide to learn how to implement a successful roach control program:

TEMPRID SC WORKED GREAT ON BED BUGS
By Bob on 05/16/2016
A guest brought bed bugs with them to our place. I waited too long and the problem got worse. I tried Suspend but that did not really do the trick. Then I read the reviews on Temprid SC and decided to give it a try. I sprayed every 7 days for about 5 times and it took care of the problem. NO MORE BED BUGS. TEMPRID SC WORKS FOR BED BUGS. THE TRICK IS TO SPRAY UNDER NEATH THE BOX SPRING. RIP A SMALL HOLE UNDER NEATH THE BOX SPRING AND SPRAY IT PRETTY GOOD. THAT IS WHERE THEY HIDE THE MOST.

Temprid SC Insecticide
By Kurtis on 05/23/2016
No need to go any further
By Alfie on 07/29/2016
A few years ago I had a bedbug problem and went to the store and got the stuff in the purple can ... you know the one, it says it kills bedbugs and other insects. So naively I buy it try it and all I can say is they were still dancing and prancing after I used it. It's like they actually enjoyed the stuff. After that I had to go to the big guns and call in a pro. So the company comes out and checks and says "Yeah you got it bad. We'll send someone out tomorrow to handle it." The guy comes the next day and he has this little white bottle with a blue label on and he mixes up a quick batch and begins to spray. Mind you, this costed me $200 for one visit. So I talk to the guy and say, "please tell me what you are using!" He was a really nice man and he says, "you know what, I usually don't do this cause it's bad for business but I'll tell you." So he gives me the bottle and I see Temprid SC on the label. he says, "this stuff will kill them all and then some for months." So he finishes spraying and he sees I am distraught about the whole situation and he says, "tell you what ... I'm going to give you the rest of this of this bottle." It was about a 1/3 full so enough for more than a few applications should I need it. I cried cause I was so exhausted from the situation. I never had to deal with this kind of thing before. So I pay him and he shows me how to use the product. I say thank you and he leaves. I waited about 3 hrs before I go back to my bed room and when I do it's like a death scene from a Hamlet play. Bodies are everywhere. No more dancing in my room, just corpses. bedbug, ants, spiders, you name it and it was D.E.A.D! for months I kept finding dead bodies lying around and I marked my calendar for 6 months out so I would know when spray the house again. This stuff is the gospel for bedbug destruction. Do not fool yourself with another product, this is your first and last option. I just moved to a new apartment and guess what appeared in one of my neighbors apartments ... you guessed it. But guess where they are not coming cause I'm about to blast my place and make sure they have no chance if they cross my threshold ... Temprid SC is the best! There is no other option!

Bed bug killer

Can't tell yet, but confidence is up!
By Anonymous on 06/13/2013
We barely sprayed the house this past Tuesday (it's Thursday), but I already feel confident that this will do the trick. We were using Demand SC, a pyrethroid which is a chemical bed bugs are growing increasing resistance to. Living in Chicago - a bed bug heaven - and taking public transportation multiple times a week has become frightening, and Demand SC didn't seem to be doing the job as after just two sprays within a month I found three bugs sitting on the floor and under my bed right where we had sprayed, but alive and kicking once I used tape to pick them up. Not wanting to take further risks considering how fast these things multiply, I bought Temprid SC after much research. After making price comparisons (this website being the cheapest) and reading customer reviews regarding product effectiveness and customer service experiences, I went with DoMyOwnPestControl and could not be any more happy. After major issues with my post office, I was able to get the same, friendly, concerned DMOPC representative (Nadya) time after time until I finally received the insecticide. She didn't even have to make those calls to my incompetent post office and could have easily said that that was my problem, but she called them right away and always gave detailed voice mail and calls back, saving me much time and frustration. I've only located less than 20 bugs total, all which were not even living on/in my mattress, but the peace of mind is worth the price. Knowing there is superior customer service in case there's another issue or other questions is yet another plus. Note: I also used food grade diatomaceous earth by putting some behind all of my light switch and electrical plates and by spreading a thin layer on my bedroom floor for 2-3 weeks, being careful not to cover the insecticide. I don't recommend spreading it on the floor as it got quite messy...

Finally free of bed bugs
By Don on 09/08/2013
We tried dry steam and other non chemical methods, but were not able to completely eradicate the bed bugs. We used Temprid SC and Delta dust together for a one two punch. I mixed the Temprid to the 16ml strength and sprayed the under part of a chair and the base of the bed. I also took the plates off the outlets and switches and used the Delta Dust. It was obvious that this was a necessary part of success. We are now 14 day out and we have not even seen one live bed bug.

Finally see the light at the end of the tunnel!
By T on 03/25/2015
This stuff is absolutely amazing. We unknowingly brought an infested couch and soon found we had bedbugs. We have been fighting over a year trying to get rid of these nasty, horrible creatures. I bought an expensive steamer, and many different sprays and dusts with very little to no success. I found temprid sc and decided to give it a try due to reviews. I am so glad I did! I mixed gentrol igr in with the temprid after thouroughly cleaning, washing/drying clothes and bedding, and vacuuming. It has been almost 2 weeks and im still finding dead bugs. I have only had 2 bites in the last 2 weeks compared to several overnight. I have a bad reaction to the bites and I am so thankful to be getting somewhere. You won't be disappointed as long as you clean, declutter, vacuum along with spraying this stuff. IT WORKS. I'm ordering more for follow up treatments to make sure these things are gone.

might be the best of the pesticides...but pesticides dont work against bed bugs!
Expert response:
Temprid SC is one product that works very well as part of a bed bug control program. However, we always recommend using multiple products when treating for bed bugs. You can view more information about treating for bed bugs in our Bed Bug Pest Guide: http://www.domyownpestcontrol.com/bed-bugs-c-39.html
