I used Tenacity to remove bent grass from the backyard and some spots in the front yard. It worked great, the grass turned white and now it's dying.

Crab grass is stronger than Tenacity Herbicide

Well we eagerly looked forward to using this product, and looked forward to results, and 14 days later still looking forward. Sorry a Spray of Dawn might do more. Wasted coins.

Kills the Crabgrass

Bought this to kill my crabgrass. Had it bad this year. First application turned it white as it died, but was so bad that I needed another application. It does work but your lawn will be white where ever the dying crabgrass it. Worth 2 weeks of white lawn. it does work, If you need to kill crabgrass it does work.

Actually works

Many you tubers use this product, so I was skeptical to purchase it. However, I did and it actually works. Follow the instructions and you will see in 10-14 days your weeds start to fade away.

Crabgrass killer

Tenacity is in the process of killing test areas of the crabgrass in St Augustine lawn. I only tried one gallon in certain areas of the yard. It does turn the targeted weeds pure white, so they show up for a couple of weeks. I also have cats claw vine mixed with the crabgrass and the new growth ends of it are red, I hope it kills that also. I put it on in the evening, but the temperatures hit 90's and it has also turned some of the St Augustine white. I was only trying it in patches to see how it would work. I plan to wait until it cools into the low 80's to try it again. It's affecting basket weave weeds also

Amazing

Grab a backpack sprayer, fill that sucker up. Watch all weeds die and grass seeds grow in while the weeds die. Amazing product.

post-emergent with added expectation of pre-emergent control

My expectation of post-emergent control of crabgrass was not high, given other chemicaIs' efficacy. Tenacity exceeded for control even on plants beyond 4-5 tillers. I hope to get residual control in the spring from emerging plants. I'll use it again for that purpose, as well.

Works Great

This stuff is a beast. Knocks the weeds out. Turns them white first so your lawn will look bad for a while. Then the weeds turn brown

Tenacidy

I bought the tenacidy to use on crabgrass, but the grass was so stressed do to lack of rain I mixed it weak didn't see any real result I used Quinn kill in the past and now I can no longer buy it in ny it was by far the best for killing crabgrass

I have been treating my lawn for 1 1/2 years now. Spring and fall apps. Kills off weeds and bent grass. I plug and overseed and the results are good.

Slow but sure

It took about ten days, but it definitely killing the crabgrass. This is the only effective crabgrass treatment that I've found that does not kill the lawn. I watched the YouTube video before purchasing, mixing, and applying. I was worried that I returned to watering schedule too soon since it took a week before the crabgrass began to die, but I guess my crabgrass was very hearty.

Tenacity

Bentgrass was starting to invade my yard. I applied my second application of Tenacity today and it appears to be doing the job. I was also surprised to see it also taking care of some other field type grasses. Anxious to see how the lawn responds next spring. Will definitely use the product in the future and recommend it to others.

Seems to be working

It has only been a week and a half but the thistle weed and crabgrass seem to be dying. Not sure about the wild violets yet. We may not have used enough surfactant. We will see what the 2nd application does.

Good stuff

Product does what it claims and has been instrumental in containing our bent grass infestation (live near a golf course) along with a variety of other undesirable seasonal guests. Love that it does not permenantly damage ornamental grasses which are often intermixed with the invaders. Easy to apply and less toxic than the alternatives. Good communication, pricing and delivery from DoMyOwn.

GETTING RID OF THE WEEDS FINALLY!

After much research and reading reviews I finally decided to try the more professional product( tenacity) instead of the big box store products. All I can say is I wish I would have used it sooner instead of wasting time and money with the other products. After two weeks crab grass and other weeds are just about completely dead. I was aware of the white appearance once the product began to kill the weeds but I didn't realize until then that I had more weeds than I was seeing initially. I have made two applications and loving the results so far. This is definitely my go to weed control product from now on.

It works

This product definitely works. The Tenacity is pretty thick so you really need to get it mixed in. First couple days I didn't see anything but then the clover and other weeds started showing up yellow then white. I didn't have a flat tipped spray head, I would 100% recommend that. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that blue dye is a PITA. If you are spraying along edges of your lawn that have concrete I would recommend doing those areas BEFORE adding the dye. I was extremely careful but still had a few areas of overspray which I had to scrub off with a brush. The dye came off where the concrete was sealed but the other areas have lingering light blue stains now. Cleanup is a bit of a pain also. If you have a fairly square lawn and can easily keep track of where you've sprayed I would not get the dye.

IT WORKS!

Heard about this product on YouTube. We bought a neglected 4-acre property, and in the past 4 years, we had tried every product that we knew about, and never saw the results we wanted. Until, Tenacity herbicide!! This stuff is great and does what it says it will do. A little goes a long way, so don't be put off by the price for a "little bottle." It is super-concentrated. Because our property was so neglected for years, we simply repeated applications approximately every 6 weeks or so. And it WILL kill everything, so be careful around any trees/shrubs/flowers. Great stuff!

Did a great job, ready for some new grass.

I can't really rate this product by itself. The reason being is that I used this product in combination with Drive XLR8 and Bonide brush killer to nuke my yard this fall as a post emergent treatment. The reason I chose this product in my mix was because it covered the broadleaf weed category, and it did the job well. And The trio of product so far has done a great job. All the weed are dead in my yard, and the remaining grass is still healthy and ready to reclaim the lawn.

Herbicide kit

This is our second kit. We have done our entire yard . It took care of the bent grass, crabgrass,and clover.This is a great product. I would highly recommend. It is worth the price as it goes a long way. Use as directed to get maximum results. Thanks

Tenacity yuck

My entire yard turned white and or died from the tenacity application. I followed the directions perfectly, and watched tons of yard care videos on top of that. Very disappointed at the ugly and disastrous results. I did read that the grass that turned white might recover but it looks pretty dead to me. Oh well. I tried.

Does not work for my crap grass

I bought the Tenacity Herbicide along with the Spreader Sticker and the Dye. Instructs are clear and with the included syringe it was easy to mix and spray with my Husqvarna 4-Gallon Backpack Sprayer. The first application did have no effect at all. Further applications killed some of the weeds, but did not get rid of the broad leaf grass. In fact, after all the grass turned white, the crab grass was the first to recover. After another application, I have spots where nothing but broad leaf grass remains. I am awarding 2 points because it kills some weed. But there are a lot of cheaper alternatives out there in the market. For the purpose that I bought this, it did not work at all.
