We do not sell the HE so we cannot advise too much on this product, but based on a general search it is the same active ingredient as the Termidor SC Termiticide/Insecticide the only difference is the HE is formulated to reduce time and labor by at least 50% per treatment, with reduced application volumes, shallower treatment depths, and smaller trenches. For more information, the manufacture would be able to advise a more in-depth answer on the formulation difference.

Termidor SC should be applied as directed to the soil for treatment treatment/prevention as directed or you can use to directly spot spray in the wood by injecting but it does not offer any protection, but Boracare would provide long term protection in addition to control and would be better to use. Here is a guide on Subterranean Termite treatment and this guide will offer information for Drywood Termites.
You should see complete results within 1-3 weeks depending on the size of the colony when using Termidor as long as some of the yellow jackets are contacting a treated area and carrying back to the nest.

As long as your fruit tree is not directly sprayed with the Termidor SC or so close to the treatment area that runoff or overspray comes in contact with the fruit, Termidor is safe to use and is not systemic. The general rule of thumb is that you should keep Termidor treatments at least 10 feet away from any edible vegetation and you should discard anything that may be contaminated with a direct spray. You may view the product label here for more information.
You need to dig your trench right up next to your foundation. You need to treat with Termidor SC all of the soil around your foundation because that is how the termites will gain access to your home.
