Best snap trap I've found. Out traps similar looking traps 2:1. Trigger can be made more sensitive with careful trimming of the plastic mechanism. I use them in the plastic bait boxs with a pair of T Rex mouse traps in the bait compartments.

These traps will get the job done in short order. I use cheese and peanut butter. I am other baits will do as well. 5 star results. Use with bait boxes for maximum result.s

i Bought two T-Rex traps because I saw a rat. Long story made short the first night I set it up and put a small piece of raw chicken went to work came home and a huge mother rat was dead. I bought another trap and put one under my sink and in my basement and the basement one ripped it's face off and it died in the basement. Than last night I noticed rat droppings so I added more chicken and this morning I looked under my sink and another one was caught. So great product and a small piece of raw chicken in that cup is key.

I would give it five stars but, I haven't had them in use for very long. Very easy to set and they are reusable!

This is a very easy to set trap and its also easy to empty after the kill. When I use it I like to fold duct tape to the bottom so it cant move for any reason.

I was having a problem with my chicken feed disappearing. Bought the T-Rex and put it in the Sidekick. Caught 5 rats in 5 days! Put it in the garden caught 2 chipmunks that were eating low growing veggies. Back to the chicken pen for 3 more rats. Then to the back porch and caught a chipmunk , then a rat that were chewing the plastic lid to the tote that had bird seed in it. Also caught a big snake under the bar-b-que. The T-Rex is wonderful. You must get the Sidekick - to keep yourself, your children and pets safe from the vicious jaws of the T-Rex. Also - order extra keys.

Used with peanut butter & bird seed to trap chipmunks that were digging holes along my foundation & chewing away an air conditioner condenser pad. Trapped about 8 or 9 however did trap one alive by it's feet (released alive) & caught 2 birds (both released alive), one of which lost it's lower leg. Be careful if you use bird seed & where you place the trap since this increases the likelihood to trap birds. Finally, either a small chipmunk or mouse is eating the seed & peanut butter but not setting off the trap. Does the job well with some unintended consequences.

This is the first trap that I have purchased in years that works! Bought two for a friend, also. The next day he had a photo with ground squirrels in both traps. Just be careful of the teeth on the trap. This is a serious, working product.

I found these very useful for ground squirrels that had destroyed my flower garden. Used the rat attractant and well.

Caught 1 rat so far. It was still alive in the trap and dropped 2 traps to my chain link fence. He was on 1 side and one trap wouldn't fit under my fence. By morning my traps were empty and the rat was gone. Hope he was either dinner for a coyote or crawled away to die. So far no other rats seen, holes found, or anything caught. So I'm happy the rat is gone.

My tally of departed rodents keeps going up. Note: when not in use do not keep in the attack mode. Still nursing bruised and cut thumb. Also, find a chain or very strong rope to tie it to a rock or tree. Two traps were carried off.

the craziest thing... we have been fighting a rodent for weeks. we purchased everything from glue traps to pellets. the rodent just would not eat. so I decided to get the T-Rex. the day it arrived and we set it up..... the rodent never came back. no trace of it! we know it did not eat the pellets because we placed and counted the exact amount on each glue trap. the rodent never ate but defecated on the glue traps. strange....very strange....! we wondered why the glue traps only caught a fly and a moth but stayed undisturbed while the rodent walked across the material. oh well! I am sure we will be able to use the trap in the future. the mere sight of this product must have scared the rodent away!

I like this trap, so much easier to set than the old kind. The old ones always made me very nervous. I caught my little problem the very first night.

Works great. I have trapped 7 rats so far. Two were caught by the legs but could not get away. Some seem to reach for the bait. If the trap was slightly larger so their head would have to be within the jaw area when tripped it would probably kill 100% of the time. I will still buy more thought. They work very well and crazy easy to set.

The little bait cup broke trying to remove it. I just set it back and caught a mouse. I'm trying to catch the rats!

Just love the T-Rex- very sturdy and love that you can unscrew the bait cup easily. Found rat fece inside my Evo Protecto bait station one day. That night , I added peanut butter in the bait cup and put it inside the bait station. The following morning, I caught a huge rat. Quick , clean and humane. I was not afraid to unload the dead rat into the trash bag using this trap as I can barely see the rat body when I unloaded it. I bought 2 more T-rex after the catch for my other bait stations. Best rat trap I have used.
