Best rat trap I've seen.. One snap-one kill.. Use in combination with the box it fits in.. Rats never see it coming.

I loved these traps at 1st, as I can set them easily with my arthritic fingers, and no fears of getting hurt. They worked well at first catching Norwegians in my shed. Then I tried them in a box on top of chicken coop for roof rats - 2x I was woken up to a clicking noise and found trapped rat alive. Drowning failed with the 2nd - I found an empty trap in the bucket, so the rat managed to get out of the trap. I may try once more with new traps - maybe these got old - if current efforts with Rat-X and borrowed electronic rat zapper don't work. Would be helpful if Bell had info on how to test for age/lost effectiveness.

As soon as I receive these I baited these & put them out. That night I got a couple rats. They are so easy to bait & set. I recommend them for sure.

You need steady hands for standard rat traps, not with T-REX! Construction in the area have sent mice/rats into our homes. I hate setting standard traps, but T-REX changed that, they are so easy to fill and I can set them with my foot. The PSI on this trap will stop a moose! And emptying it is totally easy. I am on Mouse #7 in 2 weeks. I need a chimney cap, but T-REX has leveled the playing field and I am winning! Excellent product. I bought two!

I have been using these traps for some years now, and I have had excellent results with them. I've never seen a rat get out of these traps without leaving a body part, no matter the size. The T-Rex Snap Traps are excellent traps and I never had a reason to try any other. I would recommend these to anyone with a rodent problem or providing pest control services.

Set one trap in the evening...woke up this morning to find 2 rats snapped and terminated in one single trap. Bait = peanut butter. These traps are excellent and easy to set...but when the snap count gets over 5, they get difficult to set, and eventually you'll have to toss it and use a brand new one. But they do the job.

After watching several rats steal bait off a standard trap without setting off the trap I decided to up the ante and try a T-Rex. To keep the squirrels, dogs and kids safe I used a Protecta Bait Station. The first night I set the T-Rex out I nailed a huge male Brown Rat. T-Rex Rules! I'm sold on T-Rex and recommend them highly. Easy to set, love the removable bait cup, and super easy to unload once they've dropped the boom on a rat. Rats are the question and T-Rex is the answer if you want to do it right the first time.

These are now the ONLY rat traps I'll ever use. The conventional Victor snap-traps are terrifying to set. These are, well, a snap. And just as effective.

This trap works. Works better than any other method I've tried over the past 30 years. Thing is, this company's stupid. I would have paid 5 times the amount for this thing, had I known it would work as well as this.

These work very well---however, once the bait cap was obviously knocked loose---the rat actually got away--and I have yet to find the little cap thing--They are easily set---with easy removal of the rat--

Had the dozen traps 2 weeks gave Neighbor 5 traps. Baited with long cords tied to them so the raccoons can't Drag them away. We have gotten 14 rats and two mice. Traps are easy to set. We are rural with miles of woods, And a lot of chicken food for them to eat.

These are the best traps for catching rats. They are easy to bait and set. I will definitely recommend these traps to anyone who is having rat problems.

I didn't use the wooden trap anymore. These are easier to release rat (one-handed operation), keep clean, bait and set, and mount on the rafters. Also, for some reason, 3 rats were in these traps vs 1 in a wooden snap-trap (Victor) in the same attic using the same bait. Maybe the wood retains scent?

Unbelievable! Originally I bought a cheap knockoff version of the T Rex trap ,and it did not work the mice licked every bit of peanut butter off it and pooped all over the trap twice! I purchased a T Rex trap and bait station from do my own pest control and it was the best choice I ever made! within a couple of days I checked the trap to find two mice in the trap at one time! this is a great product and do my own pest control is a great company! do not waste your money on a knock off trap it will not work! the key to the T Rex trap working is that the bait is under the trigger paddle. when the roadent tries to get the bait he cannot help but trip the paddle! I highly recommend this company and this product, also I highly recommend the bait station as well. Bill s. Michigan

User error! I should have secured the trap with a piece of wire -- one trap is missing, was probably walked off. Not humane either of me. These traps are excellent, no fear of getting one's own fingers caught, easy to bait. Bravo.

Although it turns out that I had ordered the wrong thing (I was looking for a live trap), I'm sure T-Rex would be the way to go for a swift kill. I did end up getting the Have-A-Heart trap for rats, and it works like a charm! I was able to recover the rats in no time, and they were safe and well-fed until I got home and found them! Thanx, you saved my good lingerie, and now the snakes are full and happy!

This thing is great. There is a removable bait cup that is easy to load with peanut butter (or whatever). It locks from the underside of the trap so your hands never really get near the bait. The trap is a breeze to set and doesn't spring when you set it down. Releasing the dead critter is even easier, especially since you don't have to get your fingers anywhere near the beast. Well worth the price.

Nice traps. Easy to set. They sent the wrong item, max glue boards instead, when I called customer service, they sent the Trex traps out right away and emailed a shipping label to return the glue boards.
