These are the best traps so far, they kill 99% of the time
By Elisabeth on 11/24/2024
I am glad I found these traps, they kill about 99% of the time. sometimes you have a rat that is caught by the tail and they will not work, but overall they are the best ones. I have a road construction site around my house and the rat infestation is terrible . I killed hundreds of rats since and it is finally slowing down. I had to start using bait stations as well, I hate to use those, but the infestation brought rattlesnakes and I can't have that.

Works when it works.

As snap traps go, these are much more effective than the old metal and wood design. I caught a Norway rat in one, and it tried to escape for about 10-15 seconds, banging the trap against the floor repeatedly. But the trap held, and the rat succumbed. The problem is that rodents do get bait-shy, and avoid the traps entirely. I haven't seen any traps where the bait was touched, but the rat escaped, however.

Best Mouse Trap
By Lisa on 01/13/2026
This trap is easy & safe to bait from the bottom. It works great and kills rats (big & small). It is easy to use and clean/release the dead rat. I use peanut butter for the bait... just fill the removable cup from the bottom, fill & twist back into place. Set it and place in path of the feeding area. I catch rats in every trap each night I set them. I highly recommend these traps.

Awesome!
By Dan on 01/20/2026
I have used these for years & they are awesome! I have caught 2 rats in the same trap Twice before even! I have gone through probably 50 of these so far. Yes, they work great but they do have a lifespan. As good or better than any other trap, Especially the old school wood ones. One of the greatest attributes of these is they won't break your fingers or hand in case it goes off while you are setting it ( admittedly a dozen times ) ...I have been hit twice by the old wood rat traps while setting & surprised I Freakin' didn't beak anything. These will leave a mark, but you can shake it off. The tension can also be adjusted on these as well to make them more sensitive, just have to reset it a couple of times while closing a bait box because the closing vibration can set them off and I have to redo it again.
