Product Overview

TurfVantage Humic LC Soil Conditioner should be used as part of turf and landscape care programs. This can improve moisture management, assist in breakdown of organic matter and may enhance nutrient uptake. It is safe to use on all soil types ranging from light sandy soils to heavy clay soils. To be used on lawns, specialty turf-grass, sod, athletic fields, parks and green spaces, landscaping, and in hydro-seeding. It is easy to use and tank-mix compatible with most fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides and fungicides.

New Seeding/New Sod Application:

Apply 1.5 to 2 oz. of Humic LC in 3 to 5 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. May be used with a total-kill application prior to seeding, post-seeding prior to germination provided application equipment will not disrupt seed coverage, or post-germination with your first foliar pass of fertility or herbicide products. For new sod, apply same rates as above prior to, or after laying sod.

Turf Applications:

Greens and Tees:

  • When applied by itself: Apply 1.5 to 2 oz. of TurfVantage Humic LC in 3 to 5 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Apply every four months during growing season.
  • When applied with fertility products: Apply 1 oz. of TurfVantage Humic LC in 3 to 5 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. prior to, or after laying sod.

Fairways, Lawns, Athletic Fields and Other Turf Areas:

  • When applied by itself: Apply 2 or 3 oz. in 3 to 5 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Apply every two months during growing season.
  • When applied with fertility products: Apply 1 oz. of TurfVantage Humic LC in 3 to 5 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. prior to, or after laying sod.

Hydro-Seeding Applications:

Add 32 oz. of Humic LC per 100 gallons of slurry, as a supplement to your fertility program.

Ornamental Applications:

Humic LC can be applied with hand held, backpack or tank sprayers. Mix at 1 to 2 oz. per 3 to 5 gallons of water. Apply to soil inside the drip line of the plant. When applying through overhead or drip line irrigation with an injector, add 2 to 3 oz. per gallon of water in your holding tank and set injector at 1:100 ratio. Apply every two months during growing season.

Per Acre Applications:

TurfVantage Humic LC should be applied at 2 to 4 quarts per acre, in a minimum of 15 gallons of water.

What's the sq. ft. area of coverage for the TurfVantage Humic LC Soil Conditioner?

You would use 1.5 to 2 ounces of TurfVantage Humic LC Soil Conditioner in 3 to 5 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. so for 2.5 quarts of product (80 oz) you could cover 40,000 sq ft.  The 2.5 gallon jug that we sell you could cover up to 160,000 sq ft. or roughly 3.67 acres when applied as directed on the product label.
