Vendra II SRX is a selective post-emergent herbicide formulated with fluazifop-p-butyl for the control of unwanted grassy weeds in turfgrass and ornamental settings. It is designed to target annual and perennial grasses while preserving desirable broadleaf plants and labeled turf species.
This emulsifiable concentrate is absorbed through foliage and translocated throughout the plant, allowing it to move from treated leaf tissue down to the root system. This systemic activity supports more complete control of established grassy weeds and helps reduce regrowth over time.
Vendra II SRX is suitable for use in residential and commercial landscapes, as well as nursery and greenhouse environments where selective grass control is required. It provides flexibility for over-the-top applications in certain ornamentals and turf types when used according to label directions.

General Application Instructions:
Apply Vendra II SRX to young, actively growing grassy weeds before they exceed the growth stages listed on the product label. Weeds stressed by drought, excessive moisture, temperature, low soil fertility, mowing, mechanical injury or previous chemical treatment may respond more slowly or provide reduced control.
Thorough foliage coverage is required. Apply in 1-2 gallons of finished spray per 1,000 sq. ft. using 40-60 PSI at the nozzle tip. When weed foliage is dense, use 60 PSI and at least 2 gallons of finished spray per 1,000 sq. ft.
For ground applications, add a high-quality nonionic surfactant containing at least 75% surface-active agent at 0.25-0.5% v/v, equivalent to 0.5-1 pint per 25 gallons of finished spray. Use only a nonionic surfactant on ornamental plants. Do not use crop oil concentrate on ornamentals.Avoid mowing, hand weeding or otherwise disturbing target weeds during the 7 days before and 7 days after application. Reduced control may occur if rainfall or irrigation occurs within one hour after treatment.
Landscape and Ornamentals:
Apply 0.4-0.6 fl. oz. of Vendra II SRX per 1,000 sq. ft. in sufficient water for complete weed foliage coverage. Add a nonionic surfactant at 0.25% v/v, equivalent to 0.5 pint per 25 gallons of finished spray.Vendra II SRX may be applied over the top of ornamentals specifically listed as tolerant on the product label. It may also be used as a directed spray or spot treatment around labeled trees, shrubs, flowers and groundcovers.
Do not apply more than 0.6 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. per application. Do not make more than three applications per acre per year at the maximum rate. Do not apply more than 1.7 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. per year. Allow at least 14 days between treatments.
General Turfgrass Applications:
For suppression or control of common bermudagrass, hybrid bermudagrass and other labeled grassy weeds in zoysiagrass, tall fescue and fine fescue, apply 0.07-0.14 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. with a nonionic surfactant at 0.25% v/v.
Repeat applications every 28 days while target grasses are actively growing. Higher rates may cause temporary discoloration of desirable turf, with recovery generally occurring within 10-14 days.
Do not apply to desirable turfgrass that is stressed by heat, drought, disease, nutrient deficiency or other adverse conditions. Best results are generally obtained with spring and fall treatments. Complete control of established bermudagrass may require sequential applications over one to two growing seasons.
Bermudagrass Control in Zoysiagrass:
Apply 0.07-0.09 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. in late spring, around June 1, with a nonionic surfactant. Repeat approximately every 28-30 days as needed.
As bermudagrass prepares for dormancy in late summer, reduce the rate to 0.05-0.07 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. During hot summer weather, rates may be increased to 0.09-0.11 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. The 0.11 fl. oz. rate may cause temporary discoloration of desirable zoysiagrass.
Bermudagrass Control in Tall Fescue:
Apply 0.11-0.14 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. with a nonionic surfactant. Begin during warm weather in early spring, generally April or May, when bermudagrass is breaking dormancy.
Repeat in September or October as bermudagrass begins preparing for dormancy. Do not apply to tall fescue during the hot summer months.
Use at least 0.69 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Temporary discoloration may occur. Tall fescue should generally recover within 10-14 days.
