Since you control scale insects when they are on the move which is in the late winter and spring you would wait until then to use the Adonis 2F insecticide/Termiticide again. We recommend checking with you local Extension Office to get a better exact time frame for treating in your area.
Adonis 2F Insecticide/Termiticide does need to be watered in ½ inch after application for grubs or chinch bugs
Adonis 2F is not labeled to treat mites or fleas. It is labeled for treatment of aphids systemically. If you soil drench around the base of the tree for aphid control, you will need to get the measurements of your trees to determine how much product will be needed for treatment. Please refer to the product label for mixing and application instructions.
I would recommend applying the products from our Outdoor/Indoor Flea Kit to the interior and exterior of the home when the pets are not in the area. Please click on the link for more information on mixing and applying the products for flea control.
For treating the pets with fleas, please click on the link below for some great choices on topical flea treatments.

We would recommend having the mite properly identified by your local county extension office first. There are many species of mites. You will find the contact information by clicking the link below.

We would not advise of using a hose end sprayer to apply Adonis 2F as a soil drench.
Adonis 2F Insecticide is labeled for ahpids, however, it is not labeled for use indoors.
A better option would be OHP Marahton 1% Granular Insecticide. It is labeled for root aphids and can be used indoors for use. The ratio used will depend on the size of the pot the plant is in. We are happy to provide that information if you can provide more information on the size of the pots.
Adonis 2F Insecticide/Termiticide contains imidacloprid which could indeed be harmful to honey bees. According to the product label: "This product is highly toxic to bees exposed to direct treatment or residues on blooming crops or weeds. Do not apply this product or allow it to drift to blooming crops or weeds if bees are visiting the treatment area."
No. Adonis 2F Insecticide/Termiticide is not labeled nor recommended for cicada killer wasps.
Cicada Killer wasps thrive in disturbed environments, such as landscaped yards and places where bare soil is exposed. You can discourage the wasps from nesting in your yard by cutting your grass on the highest setting and by adding a thick layer of mulch to flower beds during the Cicada Killer Wasp season. These wasps do not like over saturated lawns either, so over watering during their season will help prevent them. Unfortunately, there is no fool proof way to prevent cicada killer wasps. For prevention you can try to use a granular insecticide such as Talstar PL Granules in the couple of weeks before this pest is known to emerge. For current infestations, you would need to use Delta dust in each individual burrow.
We also like to let our customers know that the Cicada Killer wasps are beneficial insects that provide free pest control for a couple months each year. Cicada killer wasps paralyze and provision their burrows with other insects to feed their young. The beneficial Cicada killer wasps, while large and intimidating to see, are mostly harmless and there have been very few reports of anyone getting stung by just being near them. In most cases where a sting was reported, the wasps were being held or molested in some way. Cicada Killer Wasp stings are also reported to be almost painless.
Adonis 2F Insecticide/Termiticide should be used within 24 hours of mixing with water. It should not be stored in your sprayer as the product will quickly break down after this 24 hours, and storing mixed chemicals can cause damage to the sprayer.
Adonis 2F Insecticide/Termiticide has not been a product that is proven for the treatment of the Palo Verde Beetle species because of their boring behavior. Unfortunately there is no easy solution when it comes to boring beetles. Infected trees should be cut down (before the newly hatched beetles fly out of the trees in the spring/summer) and the wood burned or chipped, while other still healthy trees should be sprayed annually to protect them. Healthy trees can be protected before the beetles attack by topically spraying them with a synthetic pyrethroid like Permethrin SFR. The tree should be sprayed from the ground to 15 ft up the trunk to prevent future infestations. You should contact your local cooperative extension office to find out the best time to start spraying in your region.
Adonis 2F Insecticide/Termiticide cannot be used in a hydroponic system. It must be applied directly to soil to be absorbed by the roots. EverGreen Crop Protection EC 60-6 can be used in hydroponically grown ornamentals and vegetables as a water system treatment.
Adonis 2F Insecticide/Termiticide is not labeled for cutworms on ornamentals. This product is only labeled for use on cutworms on turfgrass. The rate is 0.46 to 0.60 fl oz per gallon of water.
We are not sure what exactly is doing the damage, but Adonis 2F is a great product for that purpose. Adonis contains imidacloprid, which is a systemic and can be taken up by the roots of the plants and flowers. When bugs eat the roots, no matter what but it is, they will ingest the insecticide and die. As long as the plants you are treating are not edible and not near a garden, this product would be good to apply. It is typically applied as a soil drench, meaning you mix up a gallon or two at a time and drench the area that you are having trouble with. Please read the product label for full instructions on soil drenching.
Per Adonis 2F Insecticide/Termiticide label you use 0.1 to 0.2 fl oz per inch of trunk diameter to treat to aphids on trees as a systemic drench.
Adonis 2F should be applied when the cats are not in the treated area. They can return when the product has dried. Please refer to the product label link below for application areas and instructions.
