Advion Cockroach Gel Bait is a professional-strength roach killer trusted by pest control experts and homeowners. Formulated with the powerful, non-repellent active ingredient Indoxacarb, Advion roach gel targets a wide range of cockroach species, including German, American, and Oriental roaches while delivering fast, comprehensive control through a proven domino effect.
After ingestion, the delayed-action formula gives cockroaches time to return to their hiding spots, where they spread the bait to other roaches through contact, feces, and consumption of the carcasses. This chain reaction eliminates entire roach colonies, even bait-averse roaches.
Ideal for both indoor and outdoor use, Advion cockroach bait is easy to apply in cracks, crevices, and other common roach hiding places. Use it in homes, restaurants, warehouses, hospitals, hotels, and other commercial or industrial spaces for reliable results. Each 30g tube provides up to 60 bait placements, making it a cost-effective solution for infestations of any size.
We provide 1 Plunger PER ORDER to expel the bait from the tubes. You can purchase extra plungers or you can purchase a bait gun for use with this product. We recommend the Masterline professional bait gun.

Advion Cockroach Gel Bait delivers fast, effective roach control in residential and commercial spaces, using food-based ingredients to attract all major roach species, so one treated roach can help eliminate more of the colony.
Once cockroaches consume Advion Cockroach Gel Bait, the delayed-action formula allows them time to return to their hiding places before dying. This lets infected roaches contaminate others through contact, droppings, or consumption, leading to widespread control. Each poisoned roach can impact up to 40 others. This chain reaction dramatically reduces roach populations, even in severe infestations.
For more information on eliminating roach infestations, see our guide how to get rid of roaches.

Worked like a miracle
By Gail on 06/12/2007
My husband and I could hardly believe it. The Advion Cockroach Gel Bait worked like a miracle. My husband used it first on Saturday morning, 6/9/07. The next day most of the gel had been eaten off the back of our dog feeder (against the wall, so the dogs couldn't get it). That had been the roach's favorite hunting ground. I applied some more, and by that night they were, for the most part, gone. Today is Tuesday and they're GONE! I actually bought way too much, so I am going to help out two of my friends, who each have problems that they haven't been able to fix. I know that with one tube each, their problems will be over. It really is a miraculous product. Thank you so much for having such a wonderful product.

Another WOW!
By David on 02/14/2010
I've never felt compelled to write a review like this, but here goes... After moving into my dream house I discovered I had a huge roach problem. Every morning when I snapped on the lights in the kitchen you see them scurrying everywhere. Even the exterminator coming several times brought no salvation. After reading the reviews here, I bought some Advion and went to work putting it out as recommended. The next morning when I went into the kitchen I was greeted by DOZENS of dead or dying roaches. I have not seen a live one in days. If you have a roach problem, look no further!

Attractive Gel (the key is dots)
By Ron on 06/17/2009
I have bait resistant roaches in my area. I put this down with about 8 small dots on a 1"x2 index card in several areas of the home (I don't like gel on cabinets). About 2 hours later, the bait behind the fridge was gone, in cabinets around the home, gone, under the table gone. Advion Roach Bait Gel is the best attractive bait I have seen, it draws the bugs out and feeds them their last meal!! Buy the bait gun for easy control of putting down the dots.

German Cockroaches
By William on 05/26/2010
This stuff is AMAZING!!!! I tried several different brands of store brought bug spray. Several different types of roach baits. I was getting up in the middle of the night to spray the roach infestation in my kitchen. Nothing even put a dent in the roach population. After ONE (yup one) application of Advion.....NO ROACHES!! If you have a German cockroach problem, BUY THIS STUFF!!! It really really works!!

NO MORE ROACHES
By Joe on 02/09/2013
I was at the end of my rope. I had a case of cockroaches in my old house that changed the way I looked at life. They would crawl over you when you slept at night, they completely take over the kitchen and bathroom at night, come out at the dinner table when we ate, making it impossible to invite people to your home for the embarrassment you would feel. I tried store bought insecticides until the home was unlivable because of fumes, but still no change in the amount of roaches. I was thinking of selling the house and moving. In desperation I tried ADVION GEL, and to my surprise, almost overnight, they (the roaches) were gone!!! It was miraculous, the way it wiped out a problem that I honestly thought was too severe to ever change. I cannot put into words the gratitude I feel for the people who made this stuff.

The product information says that it can be used indoors and outdoors. I want to apply Advion gel bait outdoors around my home. Where specifically should I apply the product for maximum effect?
Per the label: Advion Cockroach Gel Bait may also be applied as a spot or thin bead to pest entry sites such as along windows, doors, between construction elements, sewer areas, adjacent trees which harbor cockroaches, along walls, garbage holding areas, or suitable placement site acting as a cockroach harborage. Place baits in such a way as to reduce the potential of subsequent human contact. Inspect Advion Cockroach Gel Bait placements periodically and apply fresh bait as needed. A thorough inspection around a structure may reveal areas where cockroaches are gaining access. Attempts should be made to remove the access.

I used Advion cockroach bait when I was living somewhere else and every morning I saw dead cockroaches but I am living in a new apartment I bought it again and I used it and it is not working. Why every day I see cockroaches not dead but running around
Advion Roach Bait Gel should be reapplied once every two weeks. You will want to first clean up previous bait placements and then apply the bait. Please take a few moments to read our article How to Get Rid of Roaches to learn how to implement a successful roach control program.
I have a little quaker parrot and they're notoriously sensitive to manufactured chemicals and scents, they can even die from people cooking with non-stick pans or using scented candles, I live in a relatively small apartment and would need to apply this product in the same room her cage is in, she doesn't like being on the ground so there's no chance she would ingest it but I want to know if this has any fumes or scent that could harm my bird before I give it a try
You can take a look at Advion WDG it is a water-dispersable granule formulation is easy to mix and use. It also comes packaged in convenient pre-measured packets that simplify the mixing process. Simply add the contents of one to two packets per gallon of water to cover up to 1,000 sq. ft. It can be used in conjunction with baits, and will not stain most surfaces, though it is advisble to do a spot test prior to use. Consult the product label for application rates.
We have tried many products and even had a local company spray for at least a year. We have seen the most effect with Advion. I want to couple this with an IGR. How should I go about this?
Below is our guide for how to eliminate roaches. If you scroll down, it gives a visual of where to apply the Advion Cockroach Gel Bait. As far as applying any other products such as an IGR, they can be applied in close proximity but not directly on top of
https://www.domyown.com/how-to-get-rid-of-roaches-a-458.html
I have them everywhere and have tried every single do-it-yourself solution.
Yes, Advion Cockroach Gel Bait can be used inside dresser drawers.
I've never dealt with cockroaches and I just bought my home 4 months ago. I had a neighbor move and then they appeared. I have seen two cockroaches now and both were at clearly different life cycles.
One of our roach control kits would be recommended for roach control. These professional kits includes non-staining, low odor concentrated insecticide for spraying the outside perimeter of the home and inside underneath appliances, behind cabinets, under toilets and sinks, etc. You'll also get Roach Bait Gel to help get rid of those roaches that like to hide. Baits can be applied up high in the kitchen in the corner of cabinets and in cracks and crevices in kitchens and bathrooms. The bait contains a slow-acting poison that attracts and kills feeding roaches, who also spread the bait to other roaches by contact or by sharing food. Finally, an Insect Growth Regulator is offered which will stop roaches from laying eggs, helping to halt the infestation. The combination of an IGR with roach bait is a highly effective roach control strategy that is widely used by pest control professionals. The insecticide must be applied with a 1 gallon pump sprayer.

Both my kids own a Syrian Hamster, can this bate harm or kill one of my children's pets? I know it only has enough poison to kill a roach. Seeing how my roaches are German and American, and they are extremely hard to get rid of. If this poison does what it says, then it has to be strong. So that being said can it in any way harm one of my children's hamsters? I mean harm them in ANY way.
A hamster can be harmed after ingesting the Advion Roach Bait Gel as they can be pretty sensitive to chemicals. We would recommend only applying in areas that the hamster does not have access to. We have a great video here that shows where to apply the bait. You can see the video by clicking here. We would recommend checking with your vet to be sure as hamsters can be more sensitive than other animals.
As said I have no cockroaches in cabinets, upper or lower. The baseboards have some cracks. I can’t move the refrigerator so I place bait sticky traps right next to the bottom of the fridge. I want to put my max for bait on a piece of foil and put about a foot apart from the traps. Can I do that since I can’t move the fridge?
Yes, you can place Advion Cockroach Gel Bait on foil, in any area where you have not applied another insecticide. Doing so will actually allow for easy removal.
I put it about every 4 inches away from each dot and then I put granules where I couldn't get to...under my sink and stove and storage space. I see dead ones but they are still around. Any suggestions, I have had it applied for about 2 weeks
Usually, bait placements are done every foot to 2 feet apart around a kitchen or area roaches are within, but if you have a heavy population and feel more bait placements and closer proximity are needed that is fine. As long as the roaches are taking to the bait you applied then they will be impacted by it. You didn't state which species of roach you are treating for, or what other products you are using besides baiting to help you get control over the problem. Baiting alone is rarely enough to get rid of a roach population as you cannot rely on the entire colony to feed solely on the food source you provide. Using a residual insecticide spray that has a transfer effect in places you don't bait, such as along baseboards, under/behind large appliances, window/door frames, etc, can greatly increase the reach of your treatment. Sprays like Alpine WSG or Temprid FX for instance have a delayed kill and move from one insect's body to the next as they pass by or groom each other, assisting in the spread of the product even to those not feeding on bait.
Using an IGR like Gentrol IGR mixed into the solution with Temprid or Alpine helps sterilize the roach population and keep them from reproducing while the bait and insecticide work to eliminate what is there. An average roach population can take several months to completely eliminate, so results should not be expected in 2 weeks if only baits are being used.
This site says you are supposed to clean up any dried-on bits of Advion roach gel bait when reapplying every two weeks. How do you dispose of the leftover bits? Do you throw them in the regular trash, or store them in a container to take to hazardous waste?
Per the Advion Cockroach Gel Bait label: Wastes resulting from the use of this product must be disposed of on site or at an approved waste disposal facility.
I applied Advion in infested areas and have seen many dead or dying roaches that have clearly ingested the bait. Might be a silly question but is it better to clean up these roaches immediately or allow them to be eaten by other roaches to further spread the bait?
That's a great question, and you can honestly approach it from either method. Many customers prefer to clean up the dead roaches in the open while knowing inevitably, some will die behind walls and baseboards to help serve the purpose of spreading the Advion Cockroach Gel Bait through the consumption of the bodies from other roaches. However, if you have heavy numbers, and you see them actively going for the bait and roach carcasses, you can leave some out for further spread if you desire.
I bought this on 4/21. I still have an opened tube and 1 full tube left. Can I still reuse that?
The code on most insecticides of any sort including Advion Ant Bait Gel will be an indicator to the manufacturer of what batch the product came from and when it was produced or packaged. The shelf life and expiration are all dependent on how you store the product once you receive it. The product you receive should have a shelf lifeof up to 5 years from the date of manufacture.
I've seen like 4-5 recently. But I am also scared to put the gel bait and attract way more. What do you recommend I use or do? Thank you.
Advion Cockroach Gel Bait cannot be applied directly to the air exhaust and using it near it might dry it up really fast. Bait will attract roaches that are in close proximity to the bait. If you have a roach infestation please read over our Roach Control Guide for treatment options.
We have large outdoor roaches that like to live in our crawlspace and attic. Wondering if leaving some bait in those areas year-round would prevent future infestations? Thank you.
You do not need to apply Advion Cockroach Gel Bait if you do not have an active infestation. If you see any sign of activity you can put out the bait but until then we would recommend treating with a preventative insecticide like Talstar P around the base boards window sills and door frames.
