I would continue to treat with the perimeter sprays that your using. I would also use a roach bait gel in the area of activity in the crawl space. If you didn’t want to go into the crawl space treating with spray you can bait around the area close to the door. I would use Advion roach gel and apply in small pea size dabs around the door. This along with doing the treatments around the perimeter of the house, should help eliminate the population. You may need to incorporate an IGR to get complete control of the population depending on the type of roach your dealing with.
When treating shared unit buildings, using Advion Roach Bait Gel on its own would not be the most effective way to eliminate a roach colony. We would also suggest applying an insecticide dust in the wall voids to help protect your home from roaches transferring from other units. It is possible for a bird to be harmed after ingesting the Advion Roach Bait Gel as they can be pretty sensitive to chemicals. We would recommend only applying in areas that the bird does not have access to. We have a great video here that shows where to apply the bait. You can see the video by clicking here. In order for the bird to be harmed from eating a killed or dying roach from the bait, they would generally have to eat a large amount but we would recommend checking with your vet to be sure as birds can be more sensitive than other animals.

There is not a set time; it can take but it can take weeks or months even to get complete control. Advion Roach Bait Gel is typically not used alone but in combination with other products. We would recommend one of our roach control kits. You can see the kits by clicking on the link here. We also have a great article for eliminating them that can offer some great advice; you can find it here.
